How To Get JP AUGMENTOR EARLY! | Octopath Traveler 2 Guide

hey there everybody welcome back with the plapper Platypus is the name and welcome to an octopath traveler 2 video the game is officially out we have been playing it all day and I thought a fun video would be to kind of how to cheese getting an early game item that will help you throughout the entire game a lot so I'm specifically talking about right here if we go to agnia the JP augmenter it's an accessory when you equip it receive additional JP so this is the acquirable very very early into the game even though it's in a high level Zone and I'll show you exactly the strategy you could use to get that so first thing to note this is going to be in ochet's starting area here right outside of the beasting village you're gonna go to the docks and then you're gonna go basically to the cave here there's you go around to the right there's a little boat you can take the boat to get to this cave so what we're gonna do is I'll explain it we'll do it and if it doesn't work the first time I have a clip that I me successfully doing it on stream and then I can just show that either way but first and most importantly this is something we did not know when I was trying it with chat is it needs to be daytime make sure it is daytime first and foremost now I recommend first getting into an encounter really quick boom boom boom get into an encounter really quick getting into an encounter really quick getting into an encounter really quick just to make sure that as soon as you walk into this cave you don't get into a combat so we're gonna go ahead and just defend go ahead and use your whatever thingy these guys are low level you should have no problem all right so with those guys dead and out of the way here's what we're gonna do cook I accidentally raised the volume of the game but whatever we're gonna make sure it's daytime also you want to have Oswald but it doesn't have to be Oswald it just has to be you have to have the Boom evasive maneuvers equipped okay so you're gonna come into the Cave the Cave of waves Cavern of waves sorry you're gonna come up here and You're Gonna Save just like this boom you've saved now you're going to go miscellaneous return to title what this is gonna do is this is gonna reset your step counter to zero so then you come back into the game like so load back into it make sure you have evasive maneuvers on and it's daytime and now without running you're gonna walk up to the left up to the right to the right to the right boom right here you open this chest you go to your equipment you equip it you don't have to clip it right away but you get the JP augmenter from this chest right here and then you're gonna grab it you're gonna world map you're gonna teleport out just like that and so yeah this is a short video that's all you guys need to know but that is a that is how you're going to get that really good item in the super early game you can literally get it as soon as you get oswalt's um you just have to get oswalt's evasive maneuvers so you only need a couple hundred JP and then that'll help you throughout the entirety of your playthrough to get extra JP when needed now I'm still looking for other really cool items and cool areas like that I will keep having a lot more stuff if you have videos ideas let me know in the comments down below things you want to hear about things you want to see and if there's any interesting tidbits of items you found let me know and then I can always shout you out and give you some credit in a future video of other things like this anyway that is all for today much love for platypus is for platypus and I'll see you in the next one bye
