How to Get Icy Veins Rune for Mage - World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery - Phase 1 Books

hello everyone sigs here and in this video I will be showing you how you can obtain the Icy Veins rune for Mages in the World of Warcraft classic season of Discovery in order to obtain the Rune you must turn in 10 books that are looted from specific locations all across Azeroth 10 of the books are available for anyone to loot while three of them are faction specific I will go through and show you where to find each book individually you can check out the description for timestamps if you're looking for a specific book we will start with the 10 books that anyone can Loot and do the three horde books at the end Alliance players you will have to find another video the first book that we're going to be looking at can be located here at Amber Mill in the silverpine forest it is called the dollar and digest and it can be located in the main building at Amber Mill starting at the coordinates 6164 head forward into this large building here at the end of Amber Mill be aware that you may have to fight some level 17 plus enemies on your way in after clearing a path proceed through the main entrance of the building take a left and then a right through the two doorways look to the left corner of the room where you will find a glowing Book on a bookshelf right click it wait for the cast to finish and you will have obtained your first book the dollar and digest the next book is the goaz Scrolls which is located at wgar excavation site in the wetlands after arriving at 3441 enter wiard's excavation site here hug the right side wall keeping in mind that you may have to fight some level 25 plus Raptors along the way take a left across the bridge when you reach it and then look down into the right for an NN which contains the Scrolls once again rightclick the scroll wait for the cast to finish and you will have obtained the goaz Scrolls book a quick note for horde players who would like to get to the wetlands if you start in Brill in tius Fall Glades follow the road South all the way through silverpine forest and enter the hillsbrad Foothills follow the road all the way East into the arrai highlands follow the road East and then South you will end up in the wetlands where you can then follow the road down to wellard's excavation site and in order to get to the next book we will have to go to lock modan horde players can enter dun algaz shown on the map here and enter the structure here to begin following the path to lock modan please keep in mind it is a very long path and you may encounter Alliance players that will give you trouble if you are playing on a PVP server as well as level 30 Alliance NPCs as a mage we have access to polymorph Frost Nova blink and other utility spells to deal with them so do what you must to make it down this long pathway and into lock modean once here you will want to head to the mo grage stronghold located here on the map we will want to head into the middle of the three caves located on the map keep keep in mind there are many Elite ogres here so this may best be done with a group or at a higher level with enough gear to handle them once you arrive at the middle cave enter the cave and begin to fight your way through we will be hugging the left wall not to the right as I am looking you will head to the left down this way fight some enemies if necessary before continuing along the way simply continue hugging this left wall all the way until we approach this back room of the cave you can see on the mini map up there in the top right when you arrive you may find two Elite ogres you can polymorph the Caster ogre bring the melee ogre back use Frost Nova and then run forward to find the Scrolls in the back corner of this cave rightclick them wait for the cast to finish and obtain your Runes of the sorcerer Kings the next book can be located here at the Grim totem Post in the stone Talon Mountain mountains entering from the left side of the camp at 7287 walk forward keeping in mind that you may need to fight some level 16 plus enemies along the way continue walking forward into this small Hut on the right side of the camp look on top of the barrel to rightclick the Scrolls wait for the cast to finish and you have obtained your Fury of the land next up there are three books in the Barons the first of which you can locate near the entrance to the whaling Caverns starting here at 4636 run through the caverns keeping in mind that there are Elite enemies on the way I would recommend going as a group or at a high enough level to deal with them although there are often enough players heading to the dungeon that the path is clear so you can just run through down the cave to the entrance and from the entrance of the instance shown here head to the left and continue forward until you see this pill at the end of the path when you get there take a slight left to find the Scrolls behind this other pillar at the back of the cave at that point rightclick the Scrolls as usual wait for the cast to finish and obtain your secrets of the dreamers the next book in the Barons is located here in Ratchet from the center of Ratchet head to the right up the hill in into the house with gasow located at 6337 climb up the staircase on the left side of this house to find the glowing Book on a table next to gasow rightclick the goblin toome wait for the channel to finish and you have obtained your backstand on destructive Magics for the final book in the Barons head here to the sludge Fen located at 569 head into the fen and walk all the way up the ramp keeping in mind that you may may have to fight some level 15 enemies along the way when you reach the top enter this house rightclick the manual sitting on a chair wait for the cast to finish and you have obtained your arcanic systems manual for the next book we are heading to dark Shore keep in mind that if you are hoe this is a very long walk from ashenvale through Alliance territory you will want to head to the ruins of maistra located here at 5823 in the northeast corner of the map once you arrive go through this arched structure to locate a sunken Temple walk down the staircase to locate these Scrolls resting against a wall in the corner rightclick them wait for the cast to finish and you have obtained your nalas Almanac the bewitchments and glamour book is located here at 4571 at moonbrook in Westfall just outside of the deadmines instance simply enter enter this house look for the bookshelf on the right hand side rightclick the glowing red spell book and you have obtained your book the final book available for all players is located in duskwood at the Raven Hill Cemetery at 1739 on the map enter the Crypt on the left side of the graveyard at the bottom of the stairs continue heading straight all the way through until you reach the room at the back of the crypt from there the book is located on this table in the back left of the crypt you may have to fight several level 26 through 29 enemies in order to loot the book so this is best done either in a group or at a high enough level keep in mind that this is also an alliance zone so if you are on a PVP server you may have unfriendly Alliance players to contend with either way once you have cleared a path you can rightclick the Spellbook found on this table wait for the channel and obtain your crimes against Anatomy the first of The Horde only books can be found here in Brill at 6052 locate The Alchemist shop on the outskirts of town enter look for the bookshelf on the right hand side rightclick the Apothecary Society primer wait for the channel to finish and you will acquire your apothecary's metaphysical primer the next horde only book can be located at the Seiler in silverpine Forest enter the Crypt in the back of the Town heading down to the right as you go when you reach the bottom look to the shelf on the back right of the crypt to find the glowing Arcane Secrets book rightclick it wait for the channel to finish and you have obtained your aeric on Arcane Curiosities book the final horde only book is located in the valley of spirits and oramar at 3877 look to your left as you approach the valley of spirits for the mural of Tazo simply right click on the mural wait for the channel to to finish and you have obtained your lessons of Tazo book once you have obtain 10 of the books listed in this video head to this location in the magic quarter of the unders city 7432 are the coordinates walk forward and speak with Owen Thad to see a list of quests that you can turn in for each Quest turned in you will receive one comprehension charm after you have turned in 10 quests a new Quest will appear called friend of the library accept and complete this quest to earn your rune for Icy Veins Icy Veins is a leg slot Rune it has a 3 minute coold down and it will increase your spell casting speed by 20% as well as preventing spell push back from occurring for 20 seconds it is one of the most powerful DPS
