hey guys okay so if you're here you're probably here because you have a bird mite issue or you might even have scabies or been told you had scabies and nothing's working and you're trying to figure out what it actually is or could be um or you have bed bugs in my case my house has a bird my issue and i know that for sure i was diagnosed with scabies and i found out literally like an hour after the doctor told me i had scabies that it wasn't because we found bird mites all over my garage which i brought in when i was using the gym in the garage i brought into my house and i know this and i know they are bird mites because i have a baby chick brooder in my garage and i had some infested baby chicks with bird mites all over them i had no idea that this was something that could be a problem inside your house and that you couldn't get an infestation and i had no idea that these things would bite people and become such an issue um i had been getting bit in the night when i was sleeping and i was scared they were bed bugs i had no idea but when i went to the doctor he was like you have scabies and that was terrifying anyways so this video is about what i've been doing now that i found out they are bird mites um bird mites are nocturnal they will come and bite you in the night and they'll bite you if they don't have a bird to bite in my case those mites that i brought in the house that are you know reproducing inside my house they don't have a bur i don't have a bird inside my house um although i do have the brooder in the garage um so anyways my issue is that i'm getting bit and i'm totally done with that so i'm raging more and this is what i'm doing i'm not affiliated at all with any of these companies of these products or anything like that this is just what i'm doing so i heard i did a lot of research and there's really not one youtube video that explains all of this in one i kind of picked up tips from each and every video but this is what i'm doing so they do not like steam so i've been steam mopping um and i have the shark steam mop i already had that that's awesome because what i'm doing is i'm taking these essential oils clove oil lavender and cedarwood and lemongrass oil and i'm kind of dropping them dropping little drops of it around my floor and then sneak mopping over it and i feel like that is um something that's working for me um it also is you know very popular to deal with mites they don't like those essential oils so i'm also making a blend with this sweet almond oil and i'm putting it on my skin but i'll get into what i'm doing for my skin in a minute but i went and bought this shark mop that has an anti-allergen and it also has a complete seal it says you know complete seal and basically that is what you need because you don't want these things to crawl out of your vacuum you do want to be vacuuming a few times a day like i know that sounds excessive but you want to rage war on these things and they do hide during the day and crevices um and i also bought this um mattress cover that is for bed bugs but since bird mites like to lay eggs in fabric um i think it's a pretty good buy my bed has a lift on it so i was actually able to like vacuum under here and spray what i've been spraying inside my house is this primo bed bug mite spray um basically that is um i had it like shipped here really quickly because i wasn't i'm not trying to waste any time but i've been spraying that and i feel like the past two nights have been drastically better last night i only got bit once and this is in comparison to the night before i went to the doctor i had like seven bites um in on my armpit and that was like crazy for me um so they were all over me and now they're i'm only having like one bite a night but i figured something else out as far as like skin goes um and so i will kind of get into that in a second but i also wanted to address the bags so you want to put like your throw pillows and anything they like cotton they put their little eggs in cotton um they hide in cotton so you want to vacuum your curtains you want to vacuum your baseboards your anywhere there could be dust bunnies they like things like that they also like humid rooms so if you're like taking i'm showering like three to three three days a week i mean i'm showering three times a day um and uh yes so that creates like a humid environment so i'm kind of keeping windows open just to you know get the humidity out but they also don't like the air conditioning for some reason this is all stuff i've just researched but you want to put these things all the cotton type material in bags and seal them up tie them off and put them away for a few weeks um anything that you have to keep using like my sheets i'm washing and what i found to be helpful is washing them in borax so i bought some borax and borax is apparently um something that will kill them in the wash and you want to use hot water you also want to dry on high heat um and then so okay i've also been spraying the permethrin but the permethrin i'm keeping out of my house because i'm trying not to be very toxic right now so i'm putting that in my garage i'm spraying that all over the garage i'm keeping this primo bed bug mite spray i mean i literally sprayed my floor there's nothing on my floor it doesn't i mean i'm spraying it everywhere um it doesn't even have a smell i'm finding that it's helping um so as far as my skin goes okay so i had just taken a shower and lately i've been feeling like no matter what i do i i'm itchy maybe it's just what they call the heebie-jeebies but i feel like these things are on my skin and i can't see them um but it's freaking me out maybe i'm just i don't know right well um right after a shower when i scrub my skin really good i noticed they were still crawling on me i had two on my arm freaked me out um so i did some research and i found out okay well so yeah i might be showering three times a day but i'm not really get getting them all off of my skin um so i figured this out and this is going to be a life changer when it comes to battling these things um especially if you do this right before bed this is going to be my new routine right before bed so what this is is baking soda and vodka yes you heard me baking soda and vodka it's basically a paste and what i did is and i've read that this works it kills parasites on the skin it kills anything mites on skin bacteria all sorts of stuff it totally you know rages war on anything you can't see on your skin that might be crawling around so you basically polish your skin with it in the shower i mean i was polish i was polishing and scrubbing my skin with this in the shower and yes it's a little like you know it's smells up your house like a bar but um i mean i just my skin feels so clean and exfoliated i'm not gonna lie it actually is quite nice after the shower but um i literally saw like three or four bird mites die on my skin and come off me in the shower um and this is after like i've already showered three times today so let me just tell you that works and this is going to eradicate the problem like i'm telling you this is going to be what saves me at night when i'm sleeping because i don't think these things are crawling out of my bed anymore i feel like they're like on me i don't know how to explain it they're just i might just be like freaked out but these things have to go because they i'm i'm getting a bit really bad and the bites are taking a very long time to you know heal and they're supposedly more painful than bedbugs even um just not fun but i did read somewhere online that these things can get in your hair and scalp and i'm not gonna cut my hair off or do anything drastic but um i made this blend not only am i putting this on my skin after i do the polish but it smells good i'm just kind of dropping some of this in to the um oil and it's feeling really good but i just figured out i'm putting a couple drops on my scalp as well and just massaging it around then when i rinse the rinse my hair with hot water the essential oils kind of go down my hair and i feel like it's protecting my hair and it makes my hair smell really good but it also is like keeping the bugs out because you know you don't want bugs in your hair and i haven't found any in my hair but i still don't want them in my hair heck no but anyways hopefully all these tips help um you want to be cleaning like a few times a day and you also want to be spraying this like every other day in your house until you don't get any bites anymore and then once you stop getting bites completely then you want to do like a maintenance
