How To Get A Free Sentinel Ship! No Man's Sky Interceptor Update

look at that Sentinel ship this is such a sexy looking one it's all dark with like red highlights on it it is such a cool looking ship welcome back to No Man's Sky everyone Jason here and today we're gonna find an amazing looking Sentinel ship so with the Interceptor update the newest update for No Man's Sky they've added a whole bunch of Sentinel technology they have Shields and multi-tools but the biggest thing that I've seen is the uh the ships they're freaking amazing so you need to get over to these coordinates I'm gonna put the glyphs up at the top of the screen within you Clips so as long as you're in the starter Galaxy you're good to go come here and you're looking for this snowy Planet you should land on the snowy planet holy cow guys I almost forgot to mention where this cave has coordinates exchange over on Reddit I went over to the nms coordinates exchange and specifically this was a post by Geo uh geondre G Andre I'm gonna post the link Down Below in the description and I'll post the picture up here as well geondre he's the one who found it all credit goes to him I'm just showing you how to get it I almost forgot to do that it's been so long since we've done this so go over there show him some love on his post and let's continue on with the video now once you get here you need to find a Sentinel ship so the easiest way that I've found to do that is just shoot some Sentinels once you get to level five usually when you finish level five it turns off the Sentinels on a corrupted Planet it will actually give you the coordinates to a ship so let's do that real quick five minutes later come on did you is that it that was it I think that was the last one yeah okay there you go yeah the last one I wish they would like announce something there's no like notification that you've killed the last one other than you'll see this happen it'll automatically look for a dissonant Spike which is a ship that's gonna be a sentinel ship oh this guy came in you're late to the party buddy I just killed all your buddies okay fine whatever but now we have the location of the ship now you can also if you have like I've been farming some maps like if you go to uh if you kill a sentinel freighter you'll get a Dreadnought AI fragment that'll do the same thing if you are killing uh Sentinels and you get a echolocator this is another rare chart you can get that will do it as well so there's multiple ways to find a crashed ship however I think the most direct easiest way I mean depending on your setup if you uh if you don't have a lot of upgrades it's going to be a little bit more difficult but for me the most direct easy way to do that is just take out all the Sentinels on the corrupted planet and it'll automatically Mark the location of the nearest ship to you up let's land right here and look at this baby look at this thing and this is absolutely free these chips are absolutely free you have to do a little bit of work to get it but oh are you serious look at this thing okay so this is purged now if you go up to a sentinel ship and you uh get into it it'll tell you what it is number one you can see their heart you know their brains and a little bit of upgrades but number two you'll see the name of the ship up here in the top right and it's level this is a C-Class ship you can just keep looking around for a different one if you want but if you just want to go with this one you can totally do that I'm gonna try to see if we can find another one nope it's not gonna let us do this one okay so the other thing and I think this might be a bug as well once you've found a sentinel ship you have to get that marker removed you have to go through the process or else it'll keep marking the location of this one so let's clear this one out that way we can at least get it done I can show you how to work it so you want to take out the brain you need to take out the brain because it's it's aggroed against you so now what we need to do is we need to replace it with a harmonic brain right now it's a angry brain we need to make it harmonic so in order to do that you need to take your brain you have to scan it you have to press X if you're on Xbox or Square if you're on Playstation probe the subconscious and it's just like any other chart it'll Mark the location of a nearby monolith that will let you calm down the brain so let's go over here and we need to go to that monolith over there it's marked and don't worry they will keep this marker on this ship until you get rid of it so another bad part about it is you won't be able to get rid of this marker until you finish the questline which kind of sucks but the plus side is it's not a very long thing it's going to take you like two minutes to do and be done with it so don't even worry about it so let's go over here land right there and we need to go to the monolith and get this thing all uh situated so let's get over here and if you have a an angry brain in your inventory it will interact with the monolith so let's do this the ancient site stirs as I approach Stone scraping against Stone warmth radiates from the hylene brain within my pack as though in response the mind of the ship child is interlocked with the hive current instructions seek and eliminate anomalies and mesh archival sentience with surrogate entity yes present the brain I fumble with the ship's brain almost dropping it as it glows unbearably hot in my hands the pain radiates far beyond my hands and unearthly heat a heat that melts glass its circuitry shifts and then grows still the brain seems to accept my presence now so we've calmed down the brain now it is docile so now we can go put it back into the ship and the ship will actually accept us as the pilot you have to make sure that brain is is okay with you as a pilot before it accepts you so let's go let's go back over to our original ship that we found and we will where's that marker at up over here and we will have our own Sentinel ship it's totally free the South they call them a salvaged but I call them Sentinels so I mean to me they're Sentinels but you know it's technically called a salvaged chip [Music] so let's get in here and we're gonna do it you need three radiant shards one inverted mirror and the harmonic brain we just got from back from the monolith as we got it boom and so now we can see all the setup of it so this is the inventory of it and it is free it's a free freaking ship I love it so let's claim it now remember you can only have up to 12. so if you have too many ships if you already have 12 you're gonna have to replace it you're gonna have to swap out a ship so keep that in mind you only have 12 if you have the maximum number you cannot get this one unless you trade out another ship you can trade an older ship you just can't get another new one so the first thing I always want to do is I'm in first person in the camera so let's see what this thing looks like on the inside hey purged look at that I love that oh it's a split Wing look at this so this is the interior of the uh Sentinel ships look at this it looks so freaking cool in here so freaking cool and I love the when you get into the cockpit and it uh it literally just like opens up like the metal like Fades away so the other thing I want to show you guys is usually these have animations whenever they pick you know they uh take off and land so let's go to third person look at this thing look at this thing it looks so freaking cool but we're gonna land real fast and look at the animation on this thing let's see oh that looks so it's like a Transformer you guys oh my God look at this thing it's like a Transformer that we take off that is so freaking cool these are amazing amazing ships and the other cool thing is you could upgrade them at the uh the uh the actual station over here the space station will let you upgrade them with any other you know you can use any normal upgrades in here so if I had you know like uh positron ejector you could put that in here it works just like any other ship it is so freaking cool now let's get a good shot of this thing let me show you what this thing looks like look at that Sentinel ship this
