How To Fix Spotify Not Showing On Discord PC (Solved)

in this video I'm going to be showing you how you can fix it when Spotify is not showing on your Discord on your PC okay so if you normally have that connected and you hover click on your name on a server it will actually show you what song you're listening to on Spotify but if that's not working you want to check the connection and make sure it's connected properly so come to the bottom left hand corner click on user settings then what you want to do is click on here where it says connections click on connections and as you can see you can connect all these different apps you just need to find the Spotify one right here and if you actually open that up it's going to open up in their web browser where you can log into your Spotify and connect it once you have done that it's going to show up here and you need to make sure that you have this toggle enabled that says display Spotify as your status so you want to enable that and this one at the top is optional if you want to display it on your profile you can do that okay so I've enabled that now in the connections if I play a song on Spotify it'll show on this Discord that I'm listening to the song okay so if that store doesn't work what you want to do is actually add this as a game and then what you'll do is you'll click on user settings then you would come here to registered games click on registered games under activity settings then it says no game detected not seeing your game and you want to add it so then what you want to do is make sure Spotify is open and then you want to select Spotify here and then select add game now it says now playing Spotify so you can turn the game overlay on and off if you want and as you can see here it says Spotify is playing right now so you don't want to leave that on permanently so you just want to actually go back now to user settings then go to registered games and you can actually just exit out of this now if you're going to user settings and then back into connections and you just toggle this on and toggle it off again it should be able to work for you so if this video helped you out don't forget to drop a like onto this video And subscribe for more and I'll see you in the next video
