hey everyone this is Tim from your sex tap today in this video I'm going to show you how to fix your slow and unresponsive Amazon Fire stick 4K remote and this is very easy to do now the first thing we want to do is flip it over and then remove the batteries and place these to the side now go ahead and hold down the power button on the remote and then go through every button on the remote and press it down four to five times so I'm going to go up and down the remote make sure I press everything in then after about a minute you can let go of the power button and flip over the remote and then just tap it on your hand a couple times just like this just to dislodge any button that may be stuck in and that could be the reason why it's being slow and unresponsive now place the batteries back in put on the cover and you can try the room right now just to see if it's working if it's still being slow and unresponsive we want to reset the remote by holding down the back button right here the button with the three lines and then the left button press and hold all three of these down for about 15 seconds and this will reset the remote then we will have to pair it back to the TV so if we continue to hold this down now the light in the upper right side of the screen should start blinking okay so after about 15 seconds I let go and I'm trying to move around and the green light is blinking indicating that it's not connected to my TV so what we could do is hold down the home button right here and continue to hold this down and try to reconnect it to our TV and you may have to hold it down for like 60 seconds or longer and just keep holding it down and repeating the process until it connects to your TV so if your remote still isn't connecting go to the back of the TV to the fire stick and simply unplug it from the wall outlet for about five seconds and then plug it back in and my fire stick is now restarting now what I could do is hold down that home button once again and I want to bring my remote around to the back of the TV where the fire stick is and get it real close to the device and make sure there's nothing in between it interrupting the signal sometimes it may take three to five minutes to connect and a screen will pop up that says your remote is not detected usually when that screen pops up for me that's when I'm able to use my remote again okay so after about three minutes this came up we cannot detect your remote try placing the remote closer to the Amazon Fire TV stick 4K Max pressing the home button for 10 seconds inserting new alkaline batteries into the remote unplugging Your Fire TV device waiting five seconds then plugging it back in if your remote still isn't working reset by holding down the button with three lines the back button and left button simultaneously for 10 seconds okay so I did all that now usually when this pops up all I have to do is press the middle OK button and it works so even if I was trying to hold down the home button and sync it whenever that screen pops up after three minutes that's usually when I can use my remote so hopefully this video did indeed help you out did leave it a big Thumbs Up And subscribe to my Channel Down Below for more checkout videos coming up next I'm your six Tech foreign
