How To Fix Red Dead Redemption 2 Not Launching On Startup 2024

hello guys today i'm going to show you how to fix red dead redemption 2 not loading on startup so if you already you already know this problem like you load it in steam or epic games and then it sends it to the rockstar launcher and then it just doesn't open so how we're going to fix that is for me this is the steam version because i have on steam what you're going to do is you're going to go here to the settings properties local files browse and when you get here um when you get here a file called 12 on 7 this file has a dll you're going to want to but that cut that and then paste it in with the rest and i already have it so replace the file and now we have it and now it should oh and also these two so you also go down here and make sure in properties hold on in the properties in compat like you go to properties compatibility turn off run this program as an administrator turn that off and enable disable full screen optimizations for both of them like that after you're done with that basically you're good to go now we'll try it if it works and boom as you can see it loaded up the game here we go now the game runs as intended all right the rocks are games it all loads up red dead redemption 2 all right so now we know that it works so yeah thank you guys for watching hope hopefully this fix it for you as it fixed it for me and um yeah see you next time
