How to Fix PS5 Flickering Black Screen (Best Method)

in this video I'm going to show you how to fix it when your TV screen is flickering black while using your PS5 so the first thing I recommend you do is go to settings at the top from here we're going to scroll down and go to screen and video then we're going to go to video output and we're going to scroll down and go to 4K video transfer rate it even says here if your screen's flickering so if you got a new 4K TV and it's flickering try selecting minus one or minus 2 and see if it fixes your isue now let's say that's not the problem and you've tried this and it's still flickering right so the next thing you want to do is press the PlayStation button on your controller we're going to scroll down and go to Power and we're going to go to turn off PS5 so turn it off now you can also manually do that of course by pressing the power button on your PS5 so once it's fully turned off there's four things we're going to try first unplug the power cable from the back of your PS5 for about 30 to 6 60 seconds before plugging it back in now this is known as a power cycle and it may fix your issue but if it doesn't there's three things you can try first unplug the HDMI from your PS5 as well as your TV plug them black back in boot up your PS5 and see if it fixes your issue now let's say that doesn't work either another thing you could try is plugging your HDMI into your TV but using a different port now some something a lot of people don't recognize is the fact that there's different HDMI ports on newer TVs so make sure to try different ports they might look a little bit different on the back of your TV and see if that fixes your issue so hopefully this video was helpful like And subscribe and we'll see you in the next one
