How to Fix PS5 Controller Not Charging - Easy Guide

in this video I'm going to show you how to fix it when your PS5 controller isn't charging now when it comes to your PS5 controller not charging what I want you to do is press the PlayStation button and go have a look and see what your controller's battery life is looking like now you'll notice mine has three bars which indicates it's full and I found that when it comes to the actual USB cable one side plugs in better to the PS5 controller and one of the other sides not so much so when I had issues with my controller not charging I found that when I actually switch sides sometimes this um green lightning bolt would come on indicating it's charging and it used to actually be the bars that would blink indicating that it's charging but you know your controller is charging now with that green lightning bolt now I recommend you try both sides of your charging cable because that can fix your issue could be simple as that like you notice on this side it's not even popping up but it's plugged in so test that out switch the sides of your cable to see if that fixes the issue now if that doesn't work another thing you could try is to unplug the USB cable charging cable from the front of your PS5 and plug it into the back and then plug it into your controller and see if that green lightning bolt comes up for your PS5 controller now if you can manage to actually get it to turn on what you could also do is go back go to the settings Cog wheel on the top then we're going to scroll down and go to accessories Controller General and you want to make sure your dual sense wireless controller device software is up toate but between all these different things hopefully that fixes your issue if none of those things work that I mentioned it's either that your controller's dead and you're probably going to have to get a new one or it could just be that your USB cable or Port isn't working prop properly and in that case you could try getting a new cable or plugging it into the back and see if it fixes the issue with a new cable hopefully this video was helpful though like And subscribe and we'll see you in the next one
