How to Fix Install Failed Error on When Sideloading an APK File Xiaomi MIUI

xiaomi's MIUI has been known to block APK installations when they have been transferred to the device over a USB cable this is a built-in feature of MIUI but we can disable this by toggling off the MIUI optimization option to do this we first need to enable developer mode we can then find the new developer options menu from within the additional settings area of the settings application from here scroll all the way down to the bottom and you should see the turn on MIUI optimization toggle go ahead and tap it wait this five seconds and then tap the accept button to completely disable MIUI optimization on your xiaomi smartphone or tablet you should then be able to install APK files that have been transferred over USB
