What’s up, guys? In this tutorial, I will show you how to fix
fps drops and stuttering when playing Counter Strike 2 on your PC. This should be quite an easy tutorial. For more information, click on the first link
in the description below. First, launch CS2 and head over to your in-game
settings. In the “Video” section, navigate to your
“Advanced Video” settings to access your graphics settings. Enable NVIDIA Reflex 'Low Latency Mode'. This can significantly enhance your gameplay
by reducing input lag. Counter Strike 2 tends to default to a windowed
borderless setting. Make sure to change this to regular fullscreen. This can often lead to smoother performance. Since the command ‘FPS_max’ might not
be working, consider capping your FPS at 60 or a
suitable rate for your PC, by heading to your video settings again and selecting 60 FPS
from this drop-down menu. You can also cap your frame rate to a higher
value, such as your screen’s refresh rate. Some PC’s experiences issues with MSAA,
or “Multi-Sampling Anti-Aliasing”. Switch to CMAA2, or “Conservative Morphological
Anti-Aliasing 2.0” for smoother graphics and potentially reduced stuttering. In your advanced settings, locate your anti-aliasing
options, and select CMAA2 from the dropdown menu. A lot of users notice a low frame rate when
VSync, or vertical sync is enabled. Disable it, and you should notice a smoother
gameplay experience in CS2, but it could introduce screen tearing, so simply test this option
out in a bot-game to see what works best for you. This covers some of the most lag-inducing
options in Counter Strike 2. You can use a plethora of launch options and
commands in the game to improve your gameplay experience even more, and all of these steps
will be listed in our extensive guide linked in the video-description. I hope this helped you out, leave a comment
if you have any questions, and see you in the next one.
