How To FIX "Failed To Start Modded" & "Game Directory Not Found" Error When Modding Lethal Company

hi guys if you're watching this video it's probably because you keep getting this really annoying error message come up when modding lethal company through thunderstore mod manager so we're going to go through a couple of possible fixes today um so first of all we want to head over to our settings tab in the mod manager and once you get there you want to head over to the locations tab where you will find something that says change lethal company directory so we're going to click on this and it will bring up a folder on your computer to which you go to your steam Library folder steam apps common and then from there you're going to find the lethal company folder and select the lethal company.exe file from there hopefully this will fix your issue it's really straightforward if it doesn't however as you can see it's working perfectly fine for me here but if this doesn't fix your issue there is one more thing that we can try which we're just about to go over now so that again will require you to go to your settings and again two locations and you will find this here browse data folder select that and again it will bring up a folder on your computer and once we're inside the folder we are going to go to the lethal company data uh profiles and then you're going to select the mod profile that you want to launch and then you're going to select these two folders and then go over to your original lethal company folder copy these two files across obviously in this case you would select replace but I've already done this and I don't need to so I'm not going to and then go to the door stop file select edit and it'll bring up this text box for you what you'll see is me highlights something very important here this text is what you're going to replace so head back over to the thunderstorm mod manager go down to set launch parameters right here and you're going to copy and paste this text that will pop up for you so copy and paste that over into the text box that we just opened up and then obviously it's going to bring up a save box I click don't save but in this situation you will click save because this is what is going to launch your uh game for you so then you go back over to your lethal company folder you launch the game from that lethal company.exe file and hopefully everything works just great if this helped solve your issue today then please consider leaving a like on the video it will really help me out and maybe even consider subscribing and I'll catch you in the next one
