What’s up, guys? In this tutorial, I will show you how to fix
the problem when the EA app is not launching on your Windows PC. This should be quite an easy tutorial. For more information, click on the first link
in the description below. The easiest way to fix startup issues for
the EA app, is to change your app’s compatibility settings. Right-click the app icon to access it’s
properties. In the Properties window, switch from the
Shortcut tab to the Compatibility tab. Check he “Run this program in compatibility
mode for” option and change it to Windows 7. Next, in the Settings section, check the “Run
this program as an administrator” option, hit Apply, and then click OK. This should fix the EA app startup problem
for most users. If the problem persists, then search for %LocalAppdata%
in your start menu search and hit enter. Your file explorer will open up. From here, navigate to Local > Electronic
Arts. Proceed to delete this folder, and then delete
this file from your recycle bin. Alternatively, empty the entire recycle bin. This will clear the EA app cache, which can
fix launch issues for the EA app. When this is done, open up your control panel
by searching for it in your start menu search. Here, navigate to “Clock and Region” and
then “Region”. In the Region section switch from Formats
to the Administrative tab and click to open the “Change system locale”. In the Region Settings window, check the “Use
Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support” option. Click OK and then restart your PC to implement
the changes properly. After a system reboot, the EA app should start
without issues. These steps and more information will be available
in my extensive guide linked in the description below. I hope this helped you out, leave a comment
if you have any questions, and see you in the next one.
