How to fix cricut connect to internet error

hi i'm donna miller and i'm going to show you how to fix a problem that i came across using my cricut machine so as you can see the wheel was spinning and then an error popped up that said connect to the internet to validate this machine well if you look in the top right hand corner you can see that i am connected to the wi-fi so this was very confusing to me to see why my cricut was giving me an error so one thing you could do to solve this is to close out of cricut design space and bring up another window and try to recut it again but if you didn't save your project you're going to lose everything so here's what i would recommend you do instead so you need to click on the gear to get into the settings menu on your ipad so once you're in your settings menu you want to click the wi-fi network on the left side to bring up your list of wi-fi's that are available click on the one that you are connected to and make sure that the auto join for right now is unselected if you have two different wi-fi networks that you are connected to and both the auto joins are selected then they will battle it out and you won't get any internet at all so make sure you uncheck that first then you can go ahead and turn on your auto join again and click the wi-fi button at the top to get back to the list of your wi-fi connections then you want to see the green slider on the wi-fi click that to turn your wi-fi off then you want to wait just a few seconds and go ahead and turn the green slider on to turn your wi-fi on this will reset the wi-fi and then under my networks you'll need to select your wi-fi network to get it to connect to your computer so you can see that it's thinking about connecting you want to look at the top right corner next to your battery meter and you should see the wi-fi come up right next to the percentage of your battery life once that's on there then you can go back into your cricut design space hit the next button to get your machine to start the cut and then it will take a few seconds but it will actually connect this time instead of giving you an error message so i hope that you found this video helpful please let me know in the comments down below if you've come across this error message while you've been busy crafting with your cricut machine thanks for watching and i'll see you in the next video coming soon [Music]
