How To Find And Book Loads With New Authority

[Music] [Applause] what's up guys back again with another video so today i'm gonna show you guys how i book loads on my own using the load boards now i only have one particular low board and that's because i tried a lot of different load boards and what i've noticed is that um the main low board i would say is the d80 low board or the that load board whichever one you want to call it i had one two three i had some other ones direct freight and all these other different ones but from what i've noticed they all had the same lows on there like so for example if a broker posted a load on a dat load board or one two three load board most likely it was on either one of the other so instead of paying off instead of paying for all the different ones i only narrowed it down to just a dhc low board also two another reason for that is that a lot of these brokers like the ch robinsons the land stars xbo they all have their own standalone app too jb hunt and you can download those apps and you can go directly to those load boards for that particular broker and get loads as well and those those boards are free so the only one that i pay for is the dat load board and my reason for that is let me pull it up the reason the main reason for having the dat load board or anyone that you feel comfortable with i like the dhc low board i believe it's like 30 a month but i do have it so let me just pop this up right here real quick all right so right here you see i have this in a folder on my phone i got the dhc little board i got uber freight up the carrier one that's ch robertson and of course we got rts so if you guys need insurance i got two companies like i said if you start your new authority hit me up again i'm letting everybody know every time i do a video if you start an authority i don't want you to have to deal with the things that i've dealt with so i got two insurance companies because i know the rates are crazy if you try to go to like progressive and all these different places but shoot me an email i got two companies that i feel like you might be able to try to get a good rate um so let me know if you need that just shoot me an email coyote landstar c.h robinson tql the one that says dashboard that's tql and these are the ones that i have but here's the deity logo board right so now the main reason that i like using the dhc low board because if people are posting freight on here then that's the that's a good way to find new brokers it's a good way to find new brokers so let's say uh jacksonville right we're going to edit this one we're going to edit uh let's put the fifth right we're going to put the fifth on here we're gonna search for loads for the field as you can see it's only nine loads going out of there um out of jacksonville because that's florida so let's try atlanta and atlanta let's try atlanta let's go back we're gonna type in atlanta georgia right all right atlanta georgia for the fifth let's see how many lows coming out of there all right 67 um let's see let's just put it on anywhere and the main reason for this is because like typically brokers don't like to put their loads on there until like the day before and stuff like that so you know being that it's the weekend and it's the holidays that's why you only see a few lows on the lower board here but we're going to just change this to any way anywhere real quick um and see how many lows that are out there for the fifth right so 280. now what i like about the low board is that you see these names at the bottom right like swift total quality these like are if you had if you saw a load on here and you wanted to go there then this is how you can find that particular broker and if they have a lot of freight consistently in that area then you won't have to use the low board anymore like uber freight of course they have their own little board right so once you find out or find a new one on here let's see like axley logistics llc right so if they got good freight this is how you would find them hoosier logistics emerge transportation emerge emerge baylor see this is where you can find all these different little small little brokers that are if they're good if you find a load on here that you like that they're going from picking up where you want to pick up from and going to where you want to go a lot of times they have load consistently and you'll be able to find and get hooked up with them and you'll be working with them directly from that point on and even sometimes you'll be able to find direct shippers on here sometimes too direct shippers and direct receivers on here as well so these are some of the rates let's see if we can tap in real quick a lot of them don't like to post the rate either but we're gonna see we're gonna put highest rate and see if they got the highest rates on see what rates they have on here a lot of them do not like the post rate and that's because they want you to negotiate with them which is fine um that's that's kind of simple if they got a load posted for a certain amount always ask for more money keep that in mind too so that's the dat load board so i come on here if i need to book a load going from where i'm at going to where i want to go and i find different ones but now as you can see i can kind of narrow it down to only a few ones that i know that have freight picking up where i want to pick up at and going to where i want to every single day also too that's why i narrowed it down to just this low board because if i need to find a new broker or get hooked up with a new carrier then i'll be able to find them on this little board one way or another but if let's say i don't see any lows on earth that i want to go to i'll definitely go and check all my other ones directly so i'll check uber uber post all their um prices on so every load on here they're gonna post they're gonna post the rate that they're offering for it and it's no really negotiating i heard that they started a negotiation side but for the most part you either book the ones that they have or that's just that they don't really do a lot of negotiation they kind of like take that part out of it so we're going to go to atlanta pick it up in atlanta pick up within 200 miles that's a little far but let's see let's just click it just for reference purposes and as you can see they like to pair lows too so they got a 4 000 low well multiple lows but it's a total of 1211 miles he picks up in albany going to augusta right then you pick up in pula go to tennessee and then you pick up in tennessee and you go back to tiffany georgia that one's paying 43.95 and that will pick up on the fifth so it looks like it's about a three day run because it picks up on the fifth and it delivers and it delivers between 1600 or you can drop it off the next day at 10 a.m before 10 a.m the next day basically so they go ahead and give you the price up front on what they can which you can run a load for so now let's just let me just click on one i just want to do like one so let's do just do um let's just do albany to augusta paying a thousand right it's going 235 miles so let's say i wanted to run this one right so what i would do is i would just simply click bookload and that's it the load is mine they're going to send me rate confirmation the load is mine and it's just that simple that's how you book with uber freight that's why uber freight is a good way to go if you want to book a load real quick you don't have to talk to nobody you don't have to negotiate you don't have to pick up the phone and do none of this stuff you just come on here click book load the rate confirmation comes to you automatically you go pick the load up you deliver the load and then i get paid the next day and if you want that information i can definitely get that to you as well but that's uber freight let me log into jb hunt real quick because jb hunt they give their prices too all right so now with jb hunt app down at the bottom you see fine loads i'll just click on find loads type in where i'm at let's say i'm in atlanta right matter of fact let's just say i'm in savannah let's just say i'm in savannah right let's see because these is what i would normally pick all right going to let's just leave it on anywhere um type of equipment i'm going to put dry van you can put flatbed on there i'm going to click on drive and for you guys who drives driving so you guys can see that here you have riceboro going to lebanon they don't have a price on that because they want you to just place the offer right so we have glenville going to morehaven book now for 1500 right so they do give on some of them as you can see a lot of them they want you to place your offer on these and what will happen is you put an offer in and then they will kind of counter that so if they can get close to it they're going to counter offer it you can accept it or try to counter again you know that type of game right so this is 134 lows you can see it was those barely on the d80 low board because this one's going to refresh because it's their personal system but come tuesday you're going to see plenty of lows on there because of course the holiday and stuff like that like it's so many different ones on here but guys this is what i use right so inside my little folder here i got all these applications i run with pretty much everybody anybody that's going to where i want to go to i found all of these different brokers that are not on here like if i have like one that's not listed that don't have their own app i find it on the dac load board i call them up and i make a list of them i make a list of them anytime i call them or they call me because they go into where i want to go to they got freight in the areas that i like to go to so i might hit them up in black hey what you got and they'll let me know but uber freight c.h robinson coyote xbo jb hunt tql plenty of freight so if you start in your own authority and you want to know about how to book your loads it's going to be very simple for you once you get started though i'm going to tell you this once you get started the only people that's going to take you brand new you can roll with uber freight ch robertson you can roll with tql landstar so those will be the ones that have a good bit of freight to help you get started jb hunter xpo you won't be able to run with them yet until i think about three to six months i'm not sure exactly what time frames that they have but for those you're going to have to have your authority for at least that particular time frame before you able to run freight with them but the ones you can get started with immediately uber freight jb uh uber freight ch robinson landstar tql for those four it's some more out there too but get on the dhc lower board and all those ones that you see on there you can easily call them up and say hey they're gonna ask you anyway they're gonna say what's your mc number and they'll let you know whether you can run freight with them or not and it's just that simple but you don't have to go through all of that if you need insurance i got two agents that you can call and get a quote from that gave me the best rate and that can help you get started as well but this is how i book loads on the load board if i don't have a load because mostly now at this point i'm always already already booked up for about one two to three weeks out with a specific carry at times they got like a lot of lows going to where i like to go to and i'll just go ahead and book as many days as i want in advance with them and i'm pretty much rarely on the lower board now but when i first got started this is what i used and it got me to where i am right now i was able to book a load every single day i never was without freight by using this method just a dhc load board and all these different carriers that have freight going everywhere because these are big time names these are big mega carriers and they always got plenty of freight always an overflow freight and i never was without a load so there you have it guys let me know if this video was
