[Music] - yawns oh lordy welcome to our how to facial acupressure massage with your gwasha - we created this video for you because so many of you have told us on our Instagram at little more beauty that you'd like to see a video on how we do our facial acupressure massage with dark-wash not at all so I'm really excited to show you how you can do this the facial acupressure massage uses points throughout your face and your neck to activate many benefits like improved blood flow activate lymphatic drainage really facial tension smooth out fine lines and wrinkles for more relaxed toned and radiant appearance and enhance skin care absorption in terms of the technique the pressure is gentle but firm you don't want it to be painful and be comfortable enough for the acupressure point to be activated with a mix of pressing and massaging in circles for at least 30 seconds to activate your acupressure points without further ado let's start first you start with clean skin and clean tool then we're gonna do some breath work here gently close our eyes for this moment and we're going to breathe deeply for my belly in and out so we will inhale deeply and exhale deeply all the way out through our mouths repeat for two more breaths all the way out one more and out and now you're ready for your facial acupressure massage we will be activating your acupressure points starting from the top and move down and you can always refer to our acupressure point infographic whenever you need to refresh or you just want to have it for my friends I recommend using the edge like this you always have the option of using the pads of your fingertips for your acupressure massage or if you're like us you can do your quash facial massage and your facial acupressure massage with your gua sha tool we're gonna start with the point right here in the center of our forehead so we're gonna put the point right there and the thing about working with gua sha tool is that you don't need to put a lot of pressure to activate your acupressure points it gives you a little more precise pressure so we're gonna just activate the middle of our forehead here and then you just be gentle here you don't want to be very harsh and we're going to do a little massaging back and forth you really want it to be very gentle and we're gonna do this for about 30 seconds to give time for this acupressure point to be activated it's a mix of pressing very gently and massaging in circles and then just breathe here letting it all go and then we're going to move down to our inner third I add the pressure with the tip right here gently press and massage in circles this really helps you connect with your your mind your body and your spirit as you slow down and you breathe it allows you to reconnect and realign with your Divine self and then now we're going to move on to the points where your eyebrows start and then you can use the the edges over here the space right here between to activate those points so you can go like this like this and then you can go up a little bit and then gently press and gently massage in circles for at least 30 seconds to activate the points here this is one of the most relaxing and active pressure points especially if you hold a lot of tension and stress and anxiety between your eyes just to become aware and let the tension go and just breathe and then we're going to move on to the next points for this one you can do one at a time the points are about in between like the center from your eye up by your eyebrow right below your eyebrow areas so we're gonna do the point right here and then we're just gonna close our eyes and press gently well with massaging in circles I think I put a little bit too much pressure there so you can see it a little bit but we're gonna do the other side so we're gonna just do it here you really don't need to put a lot of pressure at all a little goes a long way and then we're gonna move to the temporal muscles here which I tied to your mess etre with chewing and grinding at night if you have some grinding or chopping issues so this is great for relieving the tension and the stress that you may hold in these areas so we're going to move to the temporal muscles and then you can just put the pressure right there and then we're going to move in circles and gently press these areas you can definitely feel some soreness some slight pain too so just pay attention to your body listen to what it's telling you and some areas need more rehab and others for me definitely the temporal and masseter muscles are really tight usually so we're gonna just go massage in circles but the little pressure gentle but firm feel the the muscle and the fossa with the connective tissues just letting it go to relieve the tightness there and then we're gonna move to the other side so you can do the same thing you can actually just press it around just a little bit to see what area is feeling a little bit of tightness or any tension or soreness and just feel it out and then you can definitely apply your back pressure on those areas do what works for you your body is different from mine and your needs are different so give your skin what it means I can definitely feel the relief right here it's amazing and then we're going to move downwards so we're gonna start with right here it's a little bit below the eye the under eye area because this area tends to be a little more delicate than the others you can put less pressure than the rest of your face I mean just press and gently move in circles doing a facial I could pressure massage like this really allows you to get in touch with your skin and it helps you understand better what works and what doesn't work and what feels good what doesn't feel good for you and I could tell I put a little too much pressure there so let's be very gentle and we're gonna do the other side just gently massage and circles you can go clockwise or counterclockwise and always come back to your breath fuel your nervous system to slow down and quiet through your body and your mind relax and then we're going to move downwards we're going to move our ear area starting with right here there's a little flap and in that area right there that's where you're going to put the pressure with the mix of pressing gently massaging in circles back and forth whichever feels the best to you and you'll notice that your face holds tension in areas that you least expect for example in areas like these so by relieving tension in these areas you allow our whole face to work more optimally as they are and not work and they're all connected together and then we're going to move to the other side making sure that we come back to our breath letting it all go and then we're going to move to behind your earlobe so behind our earlobe right here there's a little area a little groove that will apply the pressure there you can play around in the area to see what feels good to you and then just apply the pressure with a little mix of back and forth in circles and once you find that spot you can just gently press there and it'll feel amazing and then we're going to move to the other side so behind our earlobe that little groove right here we're gonna put some pressure there who knew it would feel so amazing back here doing this really allows you to practice self-care and self-love which one loves you to be a better version of yourself to not only yourself but to everyone that you get in touch with and I'm so glad they were able to do this together and that you are looking for ways to care for yourself and now we're done with our ear area we're gonna do the sides of our nostril so here does this great for if you have any like congestion in your sinus area just to help open it up so I like to use the edge like this and then place it right there I just gently apply pressure and a little bit of circles you can go through the grooves of your nose too if you really want to open it up and then just breathe this feels really good too very and we're gonna move to the other side same thing here you can do what I'm doing here like just going the side so the via nostril and then just focus on one area that feels really good to you and then gently apply pressure and then move in circles and breathe allow this moment to really pay attention to the sensation as you're activating your acupressure points so we're gonna move down to our lower cheekbone area so right here you can like feel it out too and we tend to have a lot of tightness surprisingly under our cheekbone so we're going to apply a little bit of pressure right here and then just gently move in circles with a little pressure by relaxing the the muscles and the fascia you allow your your face and your neck area is to relax and function more optimally by removing the stagnant and congesting toxins that may be stored in our face and neck area do two knots and blockages so just doing this consistently in your self-care routine will help with holistic Beauty from the inside out and you can feel it too it's just really good to you can even go the other way as well because this whole area tends to be very tight and then we're gonna do the other side so here below you can play around with whether you want to do horizontal or vertical depending on your face shape and needs it's all about tailoring the experience to you then just feel it - it feels really good allow yourself to be here enjoy this moment and now that we've done our cheekbones we're gonna move to right here above our lip this is why using a tool is helpful because he could be a little more precise in those areas if maybe the space is narrower for some people also just gently apply little pressure and massaging in circles the lip area tends to be shallower so you don't have to put as much pressure and then we're going to move to the sides of our lips so the sides of our lips definitely don't need a lot of pressure there you recommend slightly lifting your lip and then applying at the pressure they're having a slightly uplifted direction helps counteract the the gravity and then we're gonna do the other side and then we're going to move to our masseter muscles they are pretty big muscles so you can apply more pressure here if you would like and especially if you tend to grind that night or like me if you chomp at night I recommend doing your acupressure in your mesoderm muscles to really get relief and also reduce inflammation and any damage down the road so prevention is key here you can press around and see where it feels good you usually say sometimes it feels painfully good I think for me right here is what I need just let it go and then you can see her I left the mark because I was putting more pressure there because it tends to be my tightest spots so we're gonna do the other side now so just like we said earlier that's a pressure wherever it feels like you need the the acupressure usually it's like around the corners right here so you can just put some pressure there and a little bit of circles or back and forth and feel the healing that's a great time for yourself and now we're going to move down to right above our chin so we're here we're gonna apply a little pressure you'll realize as you do this yourself some points feel more amazing than others and just gently apply pressure and a little bit of circles now that you've applied active pressure all over your face we're going to do the at the back of our neck so I'm going to turn around here now we're going to do the base of the neck there's two points right here that you can apply the pressure to you can apply a little more pressure there the neck area tends to be so tight for a lot of people so just applying pressure here feels amazing and and just leave in circles just breathe here relaxing allow the the pressure to open up this and we're going to move down at the tool down from the neck to your collarbone to train away them fluids which will help eliminate stagnant and congesting in toxins that we've just opened up here so we're going to bring the tool down from our neck to our collarbone you can do this twice on each side and then I even do this to just bringing it all down and basically that is the main facial acupressure massage and to wrap it up what we're going to do is rub our hands and this will create Keith and once you feel the heat between your palms and I'm going to place the hands over our eyes gently place them over your eyes and we're going to do some breath work so we're going to breathe deeply in inhale deeply from our belly all the way and then we're gonna hold for three seconds and exhale out your mouth all the way and repeat for two more breaths oh and exhale inhale oh and exhale and you should feel very relaxed now and if you would like to deeply nourish your skin this is where you can mix your favorite facial serum in this case for me I'm using illuminating facial serum so I'm going to warm a mix of illuminating facial serum and water so just half a pump I'm going to mix it with water and we're going to mix up together and then we're going to gently press it all into your skin your face your neck and your chest and this feels amazing it's so pampering to care for your skin after a facial massage and I like to gently Pat your whole face so also encourage blood flow and that's it for your next acupressure massage you just have to clean your brush tool remember it's about listening to your skin and giving your skin what it means consistency is key here to see and maintain results and the healing benefits are synergistic with a holistic lifestyle that includes adequate sleep more Whole Foods less processed foods with exercise with cardio and strength-training yoga meditation to manage and lower stress and using gentle nourishing skin care products because our skin is our largest organ as always it's about baby steps and listening to your skin and you know if you don't want to I use a gwasha - like in this video you can always use the pads of your fingertips to activate your acupressure points this is a great way to do both partial facial massage and also act pressure with just one tool I hope you found this video helpful if you like this video please like share subscribe for more holistic beauty and lifestyle videos if you have any questions let us
