How to export a Unity level to Blender (Tutorial) by #SyntyStudios

hey this is Chris from cinti Studios if you've built your level in unity and you're wanting to use some software like blender to render out some animations or some cut scenes for your game we'll take a look today how to get your entire level exported out of unity and into blender and to show how that's done we'll be using the polygon dungeon pack what we'll need to do is go to the package manager under the unity registry we'll look for the fbx exporter and we'll install that so this will export as a single fbx file and it will follow the same structure we have in our hierarchy so we can either select everything that we want or we can make a new game object we'll reset the transform and we'll drag in everything that we want to export and then we can left click on this export game object right click export fbx for the format we'll go binary everything else here as you see is fine and we'll give it a name and click export and they can see we have our fbx file here and we'll jump into blender file import fbx to the directory that we've exported to and we'll import the file now these can be pretty large files so they can take a little bit of time to import so that's our level over in blender if we enable viewport shading you can see all our textures have come across with it I hope you found the tutorial useful if there's anything specific that you want to see more of then let us know in the comments subscribe to the channel to keep up to date with all of our newest videos or check out our community Discord the link is in the description
