If you got an iPhone from your friend or bought it on eBay, while it might be free or cheap, if it has a passcode and Apple ID with the Find My iPhone enabled, then even if you erase it with a restore, Activation Lock will appear when you set it up. It’s asking for the details your friend might forgot or the seller won’t deliver. No worries, in this video I'm going to show you how to remove this without using any credentials. Let's dive right in! First I’ll walk you through the erase process with iTunes. So once open it, attach your iPhone to the computer. Then put it into recovery mode. For iPhone 10, is press and quickly release the volume up button, then press and quickly release the volume down, then press and hold the side button until you see the connect to laptop icon. Then proceed with the restore option right here. Download the firmware. Then there you go. If you are looking for alternatives, 4uKey will be an excellent choice. So once completed, iPhone will show you the hello screen, Go ahead with the setup. Once we connect to a network, the Activation lock should come up. Let’s go ahead and bypass it with 4MeKey. Then click on start and agree to the disclaimer. 4MeKey will download the jailbreak tool first. Now insert an empty USB thumb drive into the computer, once detected, hit start to create the jailbreak drive. So let’s now restart the computer, When it boots up, press F12 key to enter the boot option, then boot your computer from the UEFI hard drive. Then we’ll see the checkrein jailbreak wizard, make sure your iPhone is still connected at this point, then you should see the device information right here. It says the iOS is not supported at this point. No worries, we should head to the Option first, check off allow untested iOS, then go ahead and quit back. Now it says iPhone is only partially supported, that's fine, let's proceed. The device will be put into recovery mode first, press next to confirm. Once in, press start, then quickly follow the instructions to put your iPhone into DFU mode before the countdown is over. For iPhone 10, is press and hold the side and volume down button for 4 seconds, Then release the side button but continue holding the volume down for another 10 seconds. Once in DFU mode, you’ll see the jailbreak code running on your device. Well done, now let’s reboot the computer, and open 4MeKey to start over.
