hey what's going on guys sundeep here and if you  are trying to install virtual machine on your amd   computer then you might get this error like i have  moved this virtual machine from intel computer to   an amd computer and whenever i am turning on  this virtual machine i am getting this error   and it says error while powering on the  host supports amd v but amd v is disabled   that means you have to enable amd v from the  bios amd v means amd virtualization technology   you need to enable amd v whenever you are  trying to install any kind of virtual machine   or doing any kind of virtualization  related thing on your amd computer   to enable amd v you need to shut down your  computer or restart it and then you need to   press the bios key on your keyboard bios key  differs from the manufacturer you have to find   the bios key for your laptop or the motherboard  manufacturer if you have a custom built pc so   first of all you can shut it down completely and  then start it again by pressing the power button   and then you need to press the bios key on your  keyboard while you are turning on your computer now you should see an interface something  like this if you have a newer computer or   newer motherboard that enables uefi bios  then you will see an interface something   like this and here you need to access advanced  options press f7 or click on the advanced option   the interface would be different in your  computer but you will see similar options   then go to motherboard settings advanced options  and you need to find cpu configuration or advanced   cpu configuration something like this in the msi  motherboard you will find this setting inside   the overclocking settings so if your motherboard  supports overclocking then you will find advanced   cpu configuration inside overclocking settings so  you have to find find advanced cpu configuration   then expand it then look for svm mode that is  secure virtual machine or secure virtualization   you have to enable it it may say AMD V or svm  mode so you have to enable amd v or svm mode   now in your motherboard the interface might  be different but you have to find advanced cpu   configuration and enable svm mode once enabled  you have to save the changes click on this red   x button and then click on yes to save the  changes now you have to reboot your computer   it will automatically reboot your computer into  the normal mode once you are logged in into your   pc you can install any kind of virtual machine or  do any virtualization related stuff and that's all   for this video guys hope this helped if so hit  the like button and don't forget to subscribe   also press the bell icon to get notified about  new videos and i will see you in my next video
