How to EASILY DEFEAT the NAMELESS PUPPET Lies of P

the time is now to become a real boy stick around and I'll show you how to defeat the nameless puppet in the LI of P I'll post my stats at the end of the video and when we get into the full fight I'll show you what equipment I used but let's get into a breakdown of his move set starting with phase one the fight usually starts with this dragging slash with a followon horizontal swing this attack starts with a high guard and goes into a double spinning slash next is a low sweeping attack from the left with a followon strike from the right here's what it looks like in full succession the next attack is initiated by a run and then it goes into this jumping Spin Attack now for second phase second phase usually starts with a fury Dash next is this jump into a lunging spin next is a lunging Whirlwind attack it looks like this here it is again in an extended form next is a dash attack that goes into a leap and then into a slam there's a double bladed lunging attack next is a lunging stab into an energy blast it looks like this let's move into the full fight breakdown but before we get started if you're new to the channel make sure to subscribe for this fight I'm scaled to technique and I'm using the two dragon sword the fight usually starts with this delayed charge attack if you get too close you can get shoulder checked and your timing can get knocked off next you'll see them go into a high guard that's when we know that there'll be two spin attacks if you're not good at deflecting Dodge towards him all right so here's a tip for countering with the two dragons right trigger at this point right here is when you're going to want to press the trigger but I already attacked so I will reset and as he comes down right here is when you're going to want to be in the right trigger and that'll counter the attack when he turns red you have a window of time to either heal or launch a heavy attack pay attention to this next upswing and I counter right here as he starts the motion you want to do it as the motion starts because if you do it at the very beginning like right here that's too early luckily you'll get two more chances in order to get it right if you're not using this weapon it's easier to just dodge towards him or to go for a perfect block depending on what you're more comfortable with either Dodge forward during this four swing attack or go for perfect Dodges a rule of thumb is typically the smaller faster enemies have their guard broken faster so the more perfect blocks that you get or heavy charge attacks you get the faster their guard breaks next is that running attack as soon as he accelerates up is when you're going to want to start your counter or prepare for your Parry all right so moving into phase two nameless puppet normally starts this phase with this Fury charge attack the easiest way to avoid it is to just run to the side because of his erratic attack pattern during this phase I'm using throwables and follow on attacks during key openings when he jumps in the air run towards him CU he's going to do this Le lunge when you run towards him it also avoids that ground attack there's two ways to approach the Whirlwind attack you can either Dodge towards him or run away and Dodge pick which method you want to use and stick with it because if you're indecisive like I was right here then you get caught in that attack pattern so you see right there there's the red charge attack and we just run to the side looking for openings to throw he starts charging we run away you can typically just dodge it right here I'll turn around and throw stuff at him as soon as I get the opening he jumps into the air I run towards him and I avoid that follow on attack and then I'm looking to just throw build up those status effects on him for this Dash attack either Dodge forward towards him or go for the perfect Parry like I did that choice is up to you depending on your comfort level with either dodging or blocking if worse comes to worse you can always just hold block as you're about to see me do right here I'm looking for openings to throw items at him in order to continue the status effect what I'm also doing is trying to create separation in order to get him to go into that Fury Dash attack or into that jumping Whirlwind attack because those two attacks have big openings at the end of them when he goes into this High guard stance and you see his eye light red right here Dash laterally I absolutely love the saws because they help build up that stagger when he goes into the lunging stab and you see red particles know that the laser attack is coming that one you just dodge to the side on the slam we're just looking either to dodge forward or to go for that perfect block which I missed both of those right here now I'm kind of in survival mode again I have no Health left we're just trying to get separation from him block as much as we can I'm trying to get him to go into one of those longer distance attacks and the reason is because after those attacks he pauses for a second and there's a window in order to block here comes a charge attack we need to get to the side out of the way that was the attack that I was hoping would happen but I'm too far away and I don't want to be greedy and end up getting punished for it I'll use this window to use throwables this is an easy Dodge right
