How to Download and Set up Git Bash for Executing C and C++ programs

hi everyone welid here in this video i will show you how to download and install git bash in windows 10 open your browser and type download git right click and open this link in new tab here is the download page of kit for all platforms mac os linux or any or unix and windows i have windows 10 so click on download for windows and the git 64-bit version will start downloading if you have windows 32-bit you can download the git 32-bit version from this page so wait until the download finishes and go to the downloads folder select the git installer and right click and run as administrator click yes this is license agreement click next to continue you can choose the folder where you want to install git just click browse and select your preferred folder i will go with the default folder so click next i already have a git folder of the old git version that i in installed before so yes install that folder anyway now you can select which component should be installed you have an additional icon on desktop and the graphically user interface of git and the git brush and you can associate dot git and not as files to be run with it brush and click next and the programs shortcut will be in the git start menu folder click next here you can choose which which text editor git will use if you have notepad plus plus so choose note notepad plus plus instead or visual code okay i will go with the theme as git's default editor and click on next in this step you can choose what kit will name the initial branch after git init ok i will choose let key design currently the name is master and in the future they may add more inclusive names click on next if you want to work with git form the windows command prompt git should be added to your environment variable if you want to use it from bash only select use from gitbush only select the second option if you want to use git from windows command prompt and also from windows powershell as well as any software looking for git in the path the second option will automatically add your git further path to the environment variable if you want to use git and optional unix tools from the windows command prompt choose the third option this will add both git and optional unique tools to your path and it will also offer override windows tools like find and sort so choose your preferred option and click on next ok i will use the open ssl library the server certificate will be validated using the ca bundle dude crt security certificate file and clickness in this step you will choose how it will streetlight ending in text files i will choose check out windows style commit unique style line ending click next now choose which terminal emulator to use with git bash i will use mint tty which supports a resizable window known rectangular selections and unicode font click next i will choose the standard behavior of of gitbull choose default and click next in this step choose which credential helper should be configured the first option is new i will go with second git credential manager for windows and click next now choose which features you want to enable i will enable both of them enable file system caching and symbolic links and click next i don't like experimental options so if you like those options you need to understand the applications click install and wait until the setup installs git the setup has finished installing it click finish go to start menu and search for gate folder and click on git push ok let's test git bash with c plus password programs now open a text editor and write some code and open gitbash in directory where the c plus source code and type g plus plus product dot cpp and hit enter this is the executable file type dot slash a dot x e and hit enter and here git bash works perfectly for compiling and learning c code thank you for watching i hope you enjoyed this tutorial i will see you in the next tutorial
