Hello everyone! VSDC speaking Our today's tutorial focuses on one more way of creating a nice swipe transition First, let's add a video to the scene. Like this Let's click the first video and add 'Crop' To do this, proceed to "Video effects" >> select "Transforms" category >> and click "Crop" If this tool is new to you, we recommend you to watch a basic tutorial on Crop You'll find the link in the description In the 'Properties window' find "Crop mode" and switch to "Crop borders" Click ‘Crop tools…’ and you will see a cropping selection area on the scene The timeline will automatically switch to the cropping editing mode Choose the "Linear parameter change along a trajectory" parameter in the Properties window Shift the timeline cursor to the end of the video Click the selection area on the left and drag it to the right corner so that the lines overlap Click "Apply effect" Go back to the tab with your video In the 'Properties window' set the Crop effect duration as half a second Drag the effect box to the end of the video Great! Now set the cursor to the beginning of the effect, switch to the main timeline and drag the second video right under the cursor Hey presto! The swipe transition is ready Please note that you can set the swipe direction to any side of the video Hope, you've enjoyed the lesson! As usual, we'd be grateful for your thumbs up, comments and feedback!
