I was once randomly invited to the house of the DJ from Incubus. At one point in the night, he let people take a shot at his turntables. It was fucking impossible for anyone to make anything sound remotely good or on beat. Then he gets behinds them and crushes it, all of us engrossed for over 30 minutes. I had never given his position in the band a second thought, but I definitely gained a new respect that night. .
