How to display post content in google maps? | Google Maps Plugin | WP Maps Pro

hello and welcome to the next tutorial of WP Maps Pro in this video we will learn how to display post content in Google Maps displaying post content over Google Maps is a useful feature of this plugin you can display posts on Google Maps using your own custom fields or the wp Max Pro Meta Box added by this plugin you can display the post title post excerpt post content post categories post tags and custom Fields without any programming it's easy let's dive in this topic step by step fist it is mandatory to create a map with minimal settings in first place go to wpmaps Pro greater than atmap plugin menu just enter the map title map height under enter map information scroll down a bit and then click on Save map button that appears at the bottom map was created let's move to Next Step if you wish to assign different marker icons to different posts you will need to create marker categories also here we create marker categories enter category title after that click on choose button for changes the icon if you want you can add image also but for now let's click on choose icons select one you like and click on inserto post here you see icon changed now click on Save marker category it saved successfully creating a map and some marker categories is required as first step because we need to assign the marker category and map for the post that we are going to create as next step now go to post and click on add new menu to create a new post entered the post title in the post content editor insert the post content which you want to display in the markers info window we can add category according to our post content like I am adding here category added successfully here you see also add the feature image you want to add to this post add it successfully here WP Maps Pro Meta Box specify a location for this post by the Google auto suggest enabled text box the latitude and longitude Fields will be autofilled for you once you choose a place from Google auto suggest now you need to assign a marker category to this post that will decide which icon will appear for this post on map after that need to select map once you assign the map to the post now you can click on publish or update button to publish or update the post publish the new page you will see the map on created page and you will also see the post you just created on that map because you assigned that post to this map now that your map is finally showing the post if you now want to further change in the content inside the info window of this map go to wpmaps Pro and click on manage Maps edit your map go to info window message for post section from here you can set up post information to be displayed on the info window message using placeholders you can use following placeholders if you want to update the content inside the listing section which appears under the map you need to go to listing settings section to enable it and then you need to go to listing itemskins section to choose a template for listing and to manage the content inside listing with help of same set of placeholders that's it for this tutorial I hope you learn how to display post content in Google Maps thanks for watching see you in the next tutorial
