How to Disable Pop-up help Windows 7

hi my name is Miguel from avoid errors. net in this tutorial I'll show you how to disable the popup help this one here when you hover over a desktop icon now go ahead and click on start and then type c I'm sorry run click CLI On The Run uh program and here type the word reg edit like you see here and click okay when you click okay you got to be careful what you modify here okay make sure you expand the H Key current user and then go to soft Ware expand software and go to Microsoft expand Microsoft also and then expand Windows I'm going to scroll here a little higher and then expand current version expand Explorer and now double click advaned and here right click where it says show info tip and click modify now the V the value data is one change the value to zero and click okay now close everything and all you need to do is log off and log back in and that's it your pop-up help is no longer available now if you see I hover over my icons and it's perfect no popup help thank you for watching this video my name is Miguel feel free to email me if you have any questions
