in this video I'll show you how to disable background apps in Windows 11. if you found this guide useful then please consider subscribing and once you've done that then please consider leaving a like and let's get right into this guide the first thing you need to disable background apps on Windows 11 is going to open up the settings to do that come from the bottom of your computer and go and tap on the Windows star button and then go and tap on settings if you can't find it then just go and tap on search for app settings and documents and then you can try it in there and go and search for settings then once you're in your settings all you need to do is go over to the left hand side and go and tap on apps like this and then at the top is either going to go and say apps and features or just installed apps go and tap there this is going to show you all of your apps on your computer and now I'll explain about disabling the background activity of these apps so not all apps you're going to be able to do this for for example if I wanted to go and disable background activity on onepass I go to the right hand side and tap into three dots I haven't got the advanced option setting and this is likely because one password does doesn't actually run in the background but if I scroll down to an app which I do know runs in the background then go and tap on the three dots on the right hand side and then we've got the advanced option setting but for example the irian webcam doesn't have that option but if it does go and tap on Advanced options and it'll take moment to load and then go down to where it says background app submissions and it says let this app run in background and then what you can do is go and choose always power optimized or Never So if you never wanted to run in the background then select never like so and that's literally it you can then just go and tap on installed apps again and you can go and find another app which you may want to go and change this setting for if you guys found this video useful then please consider subscribing peace
