How To Create Views In Drupal 9 | Drupal Video Series | Drupal 9 | SJ Innovation

hi everyone in this video i will be explaining to you all about views so uh basically what is your view view is uh like in drupal to list down the uh content so here we have got like uh three content type that is article page basic patient block so i'll be creating three views to list down the three different content so uh before in drupal uh give us a module which was like most commonly used but now currently uh view view is the part of the main code so i'll show you all how to create the views so first you have to go to the structure views and add a view okay if we click over here in the view then we'll get all the uh views and the uh block contents are listed down over here uh so first i want to create for articles so i'll article over here uh show the content okay of what type so i just want my view to be of type article so i just said article over here newest one i'll create a page so that page link will be article slash article so i save it over here okay so yeah so this is the title for the page view okay this uh is the one for me uh i'm selecting the um formatting list so you can there are different options like table html list grid you all can select any of one of this and pay it out okay then the show what we want to show the content here so the surgery does so i want to show the content okay what do you like more of you more teaser or searching data i don't want to show the full content and also i just want to show that these are so the teaser is selected over here then next thing is the filter criteria so it is a it is a content type uh which is a published so i want to display the content which is published okay so equal to yes then it will filter on that and then i want to display only the content type of article so here we have selected it as article here you will get the preview of the articles all the articles listed down over here on that view so i'll just click on the save part after it gets saved [Music] i'll go over here drupal slash article sorry and it will list me down all the articles content and articles okay these are all in that is a teaser mode yeah so what i want to do is this article i want to link over here in the menu so what i'll do is this is a blog so i'll just go and edit the menu okay i'll add a link over here i'll just type article slash article location yeah here you can see the home is here and the article home everything is there in the article only the articles are listed similarly i'll create for basic page content show content or type of basic page creator page the url path will be basic hyphen path for this save and again same options i'll get only over here the content type the filteration will be on the basic page yeah this all the basic uh page content type will be listing the preview mode is in a teaser format so i'll just click on save okay and if i change this url to this basic page it will list me down all the basic page content i'll add this to over here edit menu editing basic page main view thank you for the basic page if we want to access uh the uh you know view of this uh we have to click over here and i just edit the view this will it's a shortcut to the view link this uh this pencil icon the first one comes the second one which is coming over here it will uh link is a shortcut to your node where you can edit that particular uh basic page content if i click it will take you to the node here you can directly edit the content and save and the third one was um blocks so blocks contact type of block i will do this i'll keep everything the same you all can just try different things out over here to see how they are listed okay similarly there's only two blocks we have done so it will list only two blocks same okay and if i uh change the url to slash blocks it will list me down the blocks so i'll just add it to this menu over here okay so if i click over here the blogs will be listed down your basic page all the content time of the basic page will be listed up and here all the articles will be used okay so yeah and one more thing like uh if you want to move this basic page to the last and blocks in the middle we just need to edit the nano okay and you want the blocks between the article and the basic page then just move it on top and say and it will be done so there are like multiple options in the view like which we need to try to explore and uh we need we need to just uh go on trying uh stuff to understand how how it uh reacts and displays if you have got any questions regarding or like any um queries regarding the view channel you can just comment out and we'll get back to you thank you
