HOW TO CREATE REALISTIC DIGITAL STICKERS IN PROCREATE & GOODNOTES

love the most is creating and adding to my bullet journal realistic looking digital stickers that makes me feel more motivated to plan because when i finish a spread it looks really good and very realistic so when i'm talking about realistic looking i mean that the stickers is going to have a realistic paper texture uh it's going to have dropped shadow and also if you like because i do i like to have a little margin around the sticker around the illustration that the realistic stickers have so if you are in for the ride let's get to procreate and i'm going to show you how i create my own digital stickers and hopefully you're going to be able to learn something new [Music] do [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] so [Music] so [Music] okay here we have all the illustrations and i just merged all the illustrations in one layer and remove the background layer for you to be able to see what i'm about to do so let me clean this up and make sure you have everything clean okay before we start doing the the realistic part now duplicate that layer and make sure you have white in your color palette you use alpha lock and you fill that layer the layer that is underneath you fill it with white color okay that is going to be the outline layer of our stickers so remove the alpha lock and then in adjustments use the gaussian blur to increase the size of the um of the uh layer that is going to be our outline make sure that it's not too big okay more or less this size now with the lasso tool here you change it to automatic okay and select each image and use the threshold to increase the size of the of the selection until you have this blue line that is going to be the size of the outline that are going to have our stickers make sure all the illustrations have the more or less the same size of outline so they look all the same you can increase it or decrease it using the threshold okay perfect now that we have all our images selected we use color fill to fill that with white color perfect now we have one layer with illustrations one layer with the with the outline and i'm going to select again the background so you can see what i'm about to do that is basically the shadow part so we use alpha lock again and with black you paint that the whole you feel that layer so it's going to be filling all the illustrations with the outline and everything you have to do this after you have done the the outline part and it's going to look something like this i know the shadow is a little bit too dark so i'm going to down the opacity a little bit so it's transparent and also it looks more soft and there there you have it you have a realistic looking stickers now i'm going to teach you something that i recently learned and it's great and it's uh putting all of these stickers directly to good notes without having to export them each one of them so let's open good notes okay let's open good notes sorry about the noise i have a construction sign near me okay let's open a white notebook on good notes and i'm going to uh open the layer that has all the illustrations in it they already designed stickers and we are going to drag it directly from the layers to good notes and you have your stickers in good notes now uh the import uh part is going to be a png file so it's going to be one whole um sticker so if you select it it's going to be selected everything because it's just one image so if you try to crop it with the crop tool is going to look something like this and it's going to be selecting all the image and even if you try to uh take a a screenshot is going to have part of the secret that is near so uh instead of using the selection tool you have to use the image tool press the image and you have the freehand crop tool that allows you to cut just a part of the of that image and you can um drag a single um sticker apart so make sure that before you do that you copy the image so you can paste it and keep on cutting uh each one of the of the stickers let's do it one more time you copy you paste surgery the image that you copy okay now with the image selected you press and it's going to give you the crop section the crop tool you select it with free hand make sure you have free hand in it and you extract the the stickers and you keep doing this until you have extracted all of the stickers in that in that group okay uh this is a very great a very good way to for you to create your stickers and have the image already designed in procreate and when you want to use it you can put it in good notes so
