How To Create Custom Toolbars In Reaper - Part 2

all right so I'm part two of this video I'm going to show you how to add toolbar icons to your toolbar all right let's get into it all right in the last video you saw me create this toolbar for my grid settings so I want to take this a step further and I want to show you how to add different icons to these toolbar settings so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm actually gonna go I'm gonna add one more button to this toolbar so let's go ahead and go into my grid settings toolbar we're gonna right click we're gonna customize the toolbar now down here I'm going to add one more button and the action that I want to add is I want to be able to open my grid settings if I need to adjust him at all so we're gonna right click insert action and I'm going to write grid settings in the filter and right here is what we're looking for options shows snap grid settings I'm going to click on that and I'm going to select and close so you can see that it is showed up down here on my toolbar but I want to add I want to change the icon so what you're going to do is you're going to click icon and change icon and it's going to bring up this toolbar window so we're gonna look through here for an icon and I think you know we'll just pick kind of a random one here so I'll pick the light bulb and we'll close this and you can see it shows up here so I'm going to move this up so when I hit save you should see it show up on the toolbar so now when I click on it it brings up my grid settings alright so I hope you learn something from this tutorial make sure you like the video go ahead and leave a comment if you have any comments and please subscribe to my channel if you have questions you reach out to me directly at Evan at pod peek calm and we'll see you soon for another video peace out
