How To Create An Image Of Your Windows Os And Apps For A Reinstall

hello welcome to bth channel reinstalling windows and software will take a lot of time so why not create an image of the windows operating system so that you can quickly restore it when needed like in the previous video i introduced the free macrium reflect app to do so select create an image of the partitions required to backup and restore windows you then specify the location where your windows operating system images will be stored usually the windows operating system and applications are installed on the c drive with this application you can create an image of the windows operating system and installed software depending on the software you have installed on your computer this process is fast or slow here with about 40 gb it took me about two minutes to create the backup file as you can see i backed up so what do i do to restore i'll delete a simple text file to see if it's recoverable after restoring you move to the tab existing backups then select the backup file you just created in the previous step and restore again if you create multiple backups choose the right backup the restore process will take longer than when backing up the system for my computer it took about 10 minutes but compared to manually installing windows operating system as well as software it is much faster in addition your work will be much simpler almost all you have to do is sit down and wait until it's done during the restore process your computer will restart and your system will be restored to the time you backed it up as you can see the text file that i deleted before restoring has come back to life if you want to restore it next time just open the archived image file thank you for watching if the video is useful please like share and subscribe to the channel
