How to Create a Website for Free | Pantheon Free WordPress Hosting

hello and welcome back this is a Rafi once again in this video I'm going to show you how you can create a free WordPress website for practice purposes without further Ado let me take you to my computer screen and I'm going to walk you through the step-by-step process there so here we go I'm on my computer screen and as you can see I'm visiting pantheon.io I'm going to attach this link into the video description for your easy access to get started we can click here on this start free button or we can click on this get started button right here either way it's going to work so let's click on get start Ed and after that it is going to take us to this account sign up page for Pantheon so we have got two options one is to connect with your Gmail account and the other one is to provide the information manually so I'm going to use the easy one so I'm going to click on connect with Google and after that I'm going to select my Gmail account let's click on continue after that here in this page we have to provide some more information to complete the sign up process so I'm going to put my first name which is aaru and then the last name Rafi and then select your country so I'm going to select United Kingdom as of now and after that if you want to get marketing emails then simply check this option otherwise simply uncheck it's perfectly fine and then if you are an agency you have to select yes otherwise click on no for my case it's a no and then you must have to check this one I agree to Pantheon's terms of service so I'm going to select I agree and then let's click on continue after that it is going to take us to this page from where we can create a new site so I'm going to cross this out so that you can see the actual dashboard so to start creating our website we have to click here on this create new site button so let's click on this after that it is going to show us some of the available cms's so I'm going to select WordPress after that here on this page we have to provide some information for example here we have to take our domain part so let me type out something eraas as an example and just take a look the domain name will be dab hyen era. panon site. right so after that we have to choose a region so for example currently we have got United States European Union then Australia and Canada I love to go with United States it's perfectly fine and then click on continue and then it is going to deploy WordPress to this website so it might go to take around 1 to 2 minutes so let's just wait while it is working all right so deploying WordPress has been completed and now we can click here on this visit your Pantheon side dashboard so let's click here and after that it is going to load this panel from where we can visit our site admin panel but before that we have to set up our WordPress so let's click on this site admin button right here and it is going to take us to this setup stage where we have to select the website language so so I'm going to select English let's click on continue after that here in this page we have to provide some important information for example the username that we have to use while we'll try to log to our WordPress backend and also the password we have to provide an email address so let me type out some information right here let's say I'm going to type out Aras as the site title and then the username I'm going to put admin and I'm going to copy this username so that we can use it for future and after that you can choose a password here but I'm going to or actually basically you can um provide a custom password but I'm going to keep this one so let me copy and paste this one here and after that the email address so I'm going to type out this one the email Rafi Doric gmail.com and after that we can simply click on install WordPress so let's click on install WordPress and here we go if we want we can save the password but let me just cross this out as of now and here we go success WordPress has been installed thank you and enjoy now we can sign in to our WordPress dashboard so let's click on login after that I'm going to put the username that we have just provided which is admin and then the password which I have just copied so it's already here so here you go now let's click on login and here we go finally we are inside the WordPress backend and now if I visit the website you will see see the basic template has been installed and we're going to make it beautiful within a few seconds soon so here we go if I take you back here on the dashboard and now if you want to change the theme let me show you the process so here go to appearance then go to themes and basically along with themes you can upload or change the plugins add plugins according to your need and you can customize everything and you can practice along so let me click on add new theme and after that you'll find over six th000 themes available some will be free some will be paid so I'm going to try using asra as of now so let's select asra and click on install the theme will be installed now if I click on activate here you go the theme has been activated but now if I visit this website you will see a different look but it's not going to look nice here we go this is the current look so let's make it looking better I'm going to take you back again here and after that we're going to install this starter template kit plugin so let's click on install starter templates and it is going to be automatically activated and here we go how would you like to build your website we're going to add the classic starter template select build with templates and then select a page builder so I'm going to select Elementor and after that you're going to find many templates appearing here some of them will be free to use for example there we are seeing no tags available but to use these them or the templates which have this premium tag we have to pay Astra to use them so let's try and let's see how to import demo content for example let's try importing this one which is an e-commerce website so I'm going to select this one and after that if you want you can upload the logo from here but we can do this letter on as well so I'm going to skip this and then if if you want you can choose the logo WID from here as well which we're going to do later on so I'm going to click on Skip and continue and after that depending on your need you can choose the color shim here you go you can simply try before you install so I'm going to go with the default want which looks nice and after that I'm going to click on continue and after that make sure all these options are tick marked and if you want you can provide your information so that you will receive some marketing emails but I don't suggest so let's click on submit and build my website and it is going to take around 30 seconds to a minute to install all the required plugins import all the content to your website and depending on the website size template size it's going to take some time so let's just wait while it is working and then we'll see a beautiful website will appear or be done for us so let's just wait while it is working so as you can see we are almost done final finishing so it's on the final stage and here we go congratulations your website is ready and it just took 53 seconds to build as it is an e-commerce website it took longer otherwise it would take 20 to 30 seconds so let me click on view your website and we should see a new look to our website here we go which is an e-commerce website that's fantastic isn't it so here you go we have got this beautiful website I'm seeing an image is missing but it's all fine we can update everything according to our need all right so in a quick glance let me show you how I can start customizing the information of this website so I'm going to click on this edit with Elementor and it is going to load the element to Builder and let's click on continue and after that let's say instead of art I'm going to type out my name so let's click here after that you can simply go here and then type out aaru aaru Rafi and here you go I'm seeing this and if you want to change the background or the images the process is easier as well so simply click here and then go to style and I'm going to find this um let's say image so simply delete this one and upload a new one so I have got a step-by-step tutorial about Elementor page builder so please watch them I I'm going to attach the link into the video description for your easy access of course so let's click on update and now if someone visits this page from anywhere of the world let me take you to incognito mode that should be able to see the updated version of the website here we go a Rafi and this is the website now if you want to know how you can access this website back in from anywhere of the world so I'm in an incognito modood here simply visit this website and then put for/ then wpen admin and hit enter you're going to see the login page simply put the login details that we have provided earlier so I'm going to type out admin and the password I'm going to copy the password from here which we have got collected here and paste it and click on login and here we go we are accessing the WordPress back in from another browser or in an incog to mode and we can customize the website from here for sure all
