hi everyone welcome back to the channel I am shy and in today's video we are going to discuss about uou now a very basic question is what is ugam so guys ug is the examination which is conducted by triple it Hyderabad and this gives you a direct admission into their btech plus mtech courses so for this video I especially made a proper PowerPoint slide where I will be also sharing you all the details of this examinations what is the examination criteria what are the types of questions that are being asked in this particular examination right so the first slide here it says that what is ugw UWE is the entrance examination that is conducted by triple it Hyderabad next up so triple it Hyderabad is situated at Hyderabad India to be very precise Gali is a place in Hyderabad it's kind of the industrial under Tech area in Hyderabad so off in middle of the tech hub of Hyderabad TripIt Hyderabad is situated it's a small campus of 20 acres but then very well managed it was established in the year of 1998 and it is a private college yes be sure there are two types of TripIt one is something that is completely under the government part and another is these kind of second part of TripIt which is private it has a knack a rating so this is a dating given by government of India which signifies that yes it is a good college and if we talk about in more detail what we can know is that this college is more research oriented and it has a heavy course curriculum as it is research oriented the professors tend to push students so that you go and pursue phds so you get into research like publish research papers and stuff so for that reason the course curriculum is little high and it has only computer science and electronics now one great thing is that as it only has computer science and electronics it is great because most of the other engineering colleges has all the kind of uh branches like civil mechanical chemical XYZ or not but then if you're somebody who is planning to get a career in computer science or Electronics this is a college that you might prefer because all the students who are in this college are only from this particular Branch all of them will have some kind of a similar goals or aspirations in their life and it will be very easier for you to discuss with them in any kind of topics so in that way this is really good and there are various modes of like admission into Tri Hyderabad the main two biggest way through which students usually get into Tri Hyderabad is the J main examination and this examination today about which we are discussing that is uou so there are various other kinds as well to J is definitely there apart from that there is SPC that is the special channel of admission T you can go to their website and see Dasa is specially for the board examination students that if you are a student who has stopped their particular board examination so you directly get a seat into triple it Hyderabad this thing is also into bits if I'm not very wrong okay then there are olympiads of course right so coming on to the next part let's first discuss about J Mains and why we are focusing on ugw so they on J Mains it offers only B okay and just look into the cut off man computer science engineering in round five is closing at 1687 Yanik 99.86 percentile lanime you will get the computer science seat in triple it Hyderabad and electronics is also closing at 99.6 to3 98 4,398 rank P the electronics department is also closing so generally it's very difficult to get a seat into triple it Hyderabad unless like you are the person who's getting almost 100 percentile in the J examination but it's very obvious because we have the secret gateway to triple it Hyderabad that is uou examination now the this ugw examination offers you a fiveyear like program okay so there you get the btech degree and you also get the MS degree Ms degree M Masters of Science it's not the mtech but then it's kind of very similar to that only right and both of them this dual degree program is given to you in a 5 years of duration right and ugw ful form it's undergraduate entrance in examination okay and in that there are various departments into which you can take your admissions so primarily as we discussed that it is computer science and elect elects there are various different types of specialities into the branches like see electronics and communication is normal in compe s there are three types of computer science like normal computer science computer science masters you can do in computational linguistics second computer science you can do Masters in computational Natural Sciences and the third one you can do in Computing and human Sciences usually cut off ug that is for the basic computer science engineering That's The Bachelor and the Masters okay just a note master Ms this is by research course curriculum will be very difficult okay now next up ug examinations important dates the application portal is open so from 6th of February they are taking the applications so in case you're somebody who is planning to prepare for the ugwe examinations so you can go and fill up the application form then because by the end of the video you will understand whether you should even give the examination or not that is very basic thing that is the first priority that everybody should be clear with okay the portal closes on 1 of April but then we have almost 15 10 days uh until you get this video the entrance examination like the exam date is 4th of May and there will be a interview and interview will be an online interview so that will be conducted from 11th to 13th of June the interview the candidate is that person interested into research or not they might even give you one or two questions those things like interview is chill but then they'll just see that whether you are the perfect candidate even they want or not right and announcements like admit card will be given to you approximately 10 days before the examination so 4th of May examine that means somewhere around 20th or 25th of April that you'll get the ad card coming to the exam pattern now the exam pattern like it's a proper 3our test okay so the first 60 Minutes is the S and the next 120 Minutes is the reap examination what is supr by what is reap chill we'll discuss you get to know okay from from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. this will be the uh timing of the examination right and interview dates now coming to the fees of the examination private institution and the fees like even next up we'll also discuss about the uh what will say the semester wise the right but then even the application fee is 12200 rupees for women and 2500 for everybody else boys General like cast system but then just for women it's 12200 but then for everybody else it's 2500 right academic fees it's quite expensive okay so 2 51,000 50,000 depending on you a boy or a girl this is first semester and 2hs this is a big decision are you somebody who wants to even spend this kind of money on your education like undergrad and Masters combined 25 lakhs it's it's a big amount definitely the placements that you'll get you will be easily be able to like recover the money in 1 to 1.5 years at Max okay but then still is this college worth 25 lakhs that we'll discuss by the end of the video you'll get to know okay right now now there's the important part the placements it has a 100% placement even if you're going through the five year of btech plus Ms dual degree course the placement is 100% then one small thing is that just like don't blindly believe on these placement statistics as well because there are a lot of students who even like don't even want to sit for the placement so this 100% is based on like students and then they got placed as well okay these are the past recruiters of this college so Adobe Alp Amazon Google Netflix Microsoft sprinkler Nvidia so most of the big tech companies higher here and usually the pay packages you get after like once you graduate and you get into these kind of companies it's quite good like somewhere between 25 to 35 is the starting salary that you can expect and now there's the big question should you apply for triple it hyderabad's ugw examination now see if you are somebody who can afford this kind of fee okay firstly I would not recommend in 2024 to take a loan of 25 lakh rupees like a education loan of 25 lakh rupees just for the sake of the college okay if you're somebody who's able to like fund this uh College fees like either you have a great cre Financial backup with the parents or you're going to get some kind of scholarship here and there then it's good but then if you're somebody who's planning to get the entire course like on loan I think you need to just think about it little bit like once like if you are a student who's being able to get into triple Hyderabad I think you're getting into even good decent colleges as well and in 2024 to be honest doesn't really matter that much rather it depends that what are the skills that you requiring are you really good in the work that you want to do so these are the very small like things that you need to keep and considered in mind before even you plan to like pay that kind amount of fees but then definitely once you clear the examination right so coming on to the pattern of the examination so this is the supr examination the S just it's a 60 Minute test right total marks is 31 there will be 15 questions and the questions will be based upon PCM basic class 11th or 12th like question level B but then the syllabus will be of 11th and 12th it will be good like the question quality is good in the description I'll leave you the link to the sample papers that is the official sample papers given by uh ugw uh website this year okay and the basic things and the resources that you need to follow if you want to crack this examination is basically you need to have a good concept Clarity concept Clarity you need to understand each and every topic very well like you should know what is electrostatics waves model physics so each and everything app like you should know like even if you're not going to the advanced level but then even in J means level like if you're preparing for J means I think you'll be easily be able to attend like this level of questions okay for short tricks I think you can go through the formulas you should also go through the chemical reactions in chemistry the J Mains previous year question papers are good to go if you are uh looking forward to the examination also there are plenty resources available on YouTube yoube sear s Hyderabad ugw examinations videos where they're discussing previous year questions most expected questions this that things okay so there are channels which also give you guidance based on this okay and definitely there will be the official sample paper link descrition now next up it's supr so supr is the 120 minute examination L and then there's going to be 31 questions and it will be a 44 marks paper right and this supr it's more of like a critical and a creative thinking ability examination so it will be tested that whether you have that capability of solving logical reasoning questions B very similar to that very easy typ of question something related to like mental ability logical reasoning type of questions I will try to give some kind of resources in the description so make sure you check the description properly okay and again you will use the resources available on YouTube and just a small tip is that like your focus should be there like focus should be 100% when you are attempting these kind of questions because questions are a bit tricky typ you can't prepare like J so will be easier but then s is something that comes up very naturally okay so for that Focus needs to be 100% now talking about the additional study material so there's a like a website known as TripIt prep.com so Tri H prep I think most probably if I'm not sure I'll just make sure I go through the website and in stud material even during my time I bought them and it's good like it is completely designed just for this examination so if you're somebody who is going to take the GW examination seriously I think you can give it a shot you can go and buy their books so it's a combination of two series books one is for svpr one is for rap it's check it out I think guys that is it uh for ugwe examinations I think you have got to know what are the all the details of the examination and if you're somebody who's still confused that 25 lakhs of college fees should you invest or not I would suggest that abil exam let's see whether you get through or not andam and getting seat into a good n it and then you're getting into Tri Hyderabad if you're not able to afford the fees I would say that you should go for the other college but then in case you have the money you are able to fund the college fees this is a college that is worth it
