How to Cook Bangus Sisig

Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy! and today we'll be cooking Bangus Sisig here are the ingredients we need for this recipe: boneless bangus we'll also need butter crushed "chicharon" finely chopped "dahon ng sibuyas" chopped onions (not finely chopped as previous) soysauce chili or "sili" mayonnaise garlic powder we'll also be using salt and ground black pepper and a little bit of cooking oil. We'll be spraying it in a foil placed on a baking tray and then put the "bangus" on the alluminum foil I will also be spraying a little bit of cooking oil in the "bangus" you may use ordinary cooking oil without sprayer, just spread it on the foil and our bangus and then we may now broil the bangus for 20 minutes we may also fry the bangus, waht important is for the bangus to flake and be cooked and this is how our bangus will look like after broiling bangus meat wont have significant change in color but once it flakes, it means its cooked all we have to do is shred this I will just separate the meat and the skin of the bangus then put in a bowl much better if we could peel and shred all the bangus meat because we will cook this again later Make sure to include the bangus' belly. This is the tastiest part after this, prepare your cooking pan or cooking pot (what ever is available) save the skin for later let us now cook the meat Put butter on a cooking pan abaout 2 tsbp of butter will do you may either use salted or unsalted, either will do once the butter has melted, put our meat this is the fish meat we peeled and shredded earlier stir-fry for 3 minutes and we may now add our onions we have 2 cut types for our onions, what we are using is the finely chopped ones, the other is the not-so-finely chopped onions so we'll stir-fry first the finely chopped onion stir-fry for another 5 minutes so the bangus meat would turn to brown slighly after stir-frying we may now season this I will just season this with garlic powder here goes our garlic powder this adds a lot of flavor on our bangus sisig after stir-frying we may now add other seasoning in it here is our soysauce or "toyo" we only need a little bit of soysauce stir-fry then add ground black pepper and salt It's up to you how much salt and pepper you would like to season this. Much better to taste the dish first and here goes our salt I'll be adding just a little bit of salt, then mix continue cooking for a minute and we may now add our mayonnaise I will put about 1 1/2 tsp of mayonnaise this helps our bangus sisig be rich continue cooking for another minute an then turn the stove off now we will be adding the remaining ingredients this is the chopped chili or "sili" make sure that you have turn the stove off this is the scallions or "dahon ng sibuyas" and we will now also add the not-so-finely chopped onions, this is slightly bigger than the ones we use in stir-frying I will now also add the "chicharon" save a litlle bit for toppings later and then mix well see, this is really simple to cook once mixed, we may now put this above the bangus' skin put the bangus' skin on a serving plate once done we may now serve this Here's our Bangus Sisig Come on, let's eat!
