HOW TO CLEAN YOUR WHITE VANS AT HOME FOR FREE!

what's up guys today I wanted to share how I restore my white vans using common household products as you can see these shoes are pretty beat and dirty I wanted to challenge myself with the task of making these look like they just came out of the box using the cheapest items at hand so the five items I used for this cleaning we're laundry detergent a [Music] sponge and nail brush a toothbrush and a bowl of water [Music] as you can see I picked these up at the thrift store for six dollars for the first thing I did was remove the laces [Music] next I grabbed my detergent mixed it with the water and began scrubbing [Music] i scrubbed the shoes two or three times in total since they were quite dirty for the first round I aimed to really soak the shoe and try to get the deep stains rinsed her few stains that were putting up a fight for those I doused the brush and detergent and scrub them separately a few times [Music] so next I moved on to the missiles which were pretty scuffed I treat those similar to the uppers first I dip the brush straight into the detergent then I give the rubber a good scrub making sure to use different motions as I go sometimes the brush is enough to get rid of these cuffs but as you can see discuss we're still there when I finish to get rid of them I grabbed my sponge and using the rough side to scrub the remaining stains away [Music] get rid of any wrinkles from the toe box I stuffed them with newspaper next I scrubbed the shoe for the second time like I was talking about earlier but this time I went more heavy on the detergent since there were some deeper stains I chewed it a little and used my mom's stain remover and scrubbed away [Music] finally I moved on to the laces I've found the best way in my opinion to clean them are to douse them in soap rub them between my hands and then rinse [Music] and this is what the shoes look like before they're dry [Music] the best way to let them dry and regain their brightness is by leaving them the Sun for a day or two or until they're dry [Music] I hope this method was hopeful for you guys and shows you that you really don't need an expensive cleaning system to get good results [Music] if you'd like to see more videos like these make sure to LIKE and subscribe and let me know if you'd like to see next in the comments below [Music] [Music]
