HOW TO CLEAN CAR WINDOWS : STREAK FREE GLASS !!

the tips and tricks on how you can quickly and easily clean your car glass both inside and out and also some professional tips and tricks for the windshield so you don't want to miss this without further ado stay tuned let's go ahead and start the show [Music] so hey guys i'm pan welcome to the show i hope you guys are having a great day so let's dig right into the demonstration today i'm showing you how to quickly achieve professional results to clean your vehicle's glass again whether you have a car an rv an suv a pickup truck regardless all you're going to need are a few chemicals and a few tools and all of those i'll link in the description under the video for you guys to check them out so all you have to do is sit back relax and enjoy the show this is not a sponsored video this is just me sharing my tips and tricks with you guys this is one of the biggest car detailing channels on youtube at the moment of this recording we're at almost 700 000 subscribers and over 80 million views so i have each and every one of you to thank for that so what do you need to do a proper job first of all let's talk about the chemicals pretty simple you need an automotive glass cleaner that means it's free of any ammonia and if it's free of any ammonia it's also safe to use on tinted glass like we have here today on this 2022 kia telluride so a few of the glass cleaners that i recommend that i like on my channel the stoner invisible glass by the way don't worry i'll leave all these options in the description like i said for you guys to check them out then there's car pro clarify and we have jion glass so these are all all automotive grade glass cleaners to get professional level results so we're going to start with the cleaning of the glass and then we'll move on to tips and tricks for the windshield right how do you clean that inside portion it's always a daunting task and also i'm going to give you professional tips on how you can elevate your glass cleaning game to the next level once you're done cleaning them so the first order of business is make sure your vehicle is clean so you're going to wash your vehicle your traditional way either in a tunnel wash in an automatic car wash if that's all you have access to or at home using the traditional two bucket wash method your favorite wash mitt and car shampoo and once it's all dry then we're ready to tackle the actual glass cleaning so the important thing is also the tools all you need basically to do the job is microfiber towels but not just any microfiber towels you want short nap tight woven ones that do not lint the last thing you want is to leave a bunch of lint when you're cleaning your glass so here are options again i'm going to link these in the description they're all from the rag company so this here is a waffle weave glass towel and then we have two other towels so this one here is basically diamond cut as you can tell the diamond weave and also a corduroy looking glass towel so they're all short naps so that's the key you're going to use two towels your initial one that you're gonna spray the liquid with and do the initial wipe and then you take a second clean and dry towel and you buff to a streak-free shine and that's one of the tricks to get that streak-free shine so we're gonna take one of the glass cleaners and we're liberally gonna spray on the glass so don't be shy you need a lot of liquid to start off with so we're gonna take one of the towels here again they're short nap and we're gonna do the box method so what that means basically is you're doing a box with the liquid so you're doing the outer edges first and then work your way to the middle as so and then a quick pro tip you want to get the edges right so you're going to lower that glass just a little bit and hopefully here you can tell there's always a bit of gunk and dirt that's on the edges of the glass so you take your towel you pinch it and you're simply going to pinch and wipe that portion there so we have clean glass on the top and now you can roll it back up and you know that you have perfectly clean glass so this is our initial wipe with our damp towel we're gonna take our second clean and dry towel i like to use the waffle weed for this this is perfect for cleaning glass and this is how you wipe to a streak free shine you have no lint left behind and now we're gonna do the same thing on the inside portion of the glass because you want to make sure everything is properly clean so once again spray liberally there on the glass you want to get enough liquid going we're going to do the box method so the edges first and then work our way to the middle so try and avoid doing this in direct sunlight also another pro tip if you want to avoid to have any streaking do it in the shade or in a garage for ideal results but all these products are safe to use by the way as well in direct sunlight so now we take our second clean and dry towel and we buff to a streak free shine and hopefully you can tell on camera now that this looks absolutely beautiful both inside and out we restored all the optical clarity and it looks fantastic before we go to the professional tips for the windshield let me show you something else if you want to go to the next level so if your car is older this is a brand new vehicle but if it's been on the road for a while it accumulates dirt grime dust and a bunch of stuff and all that traffic film also this like oily substance or stuff that's airborne because you're driving on the road while it eventually gets stuck on there you can have some contamination on your glass so it won't feel as smooth so the older the car gets the more contaminants you have so what do we do well you probably have heard of automotive clay so you take a clay bar so this is kind of like play-doh but this is made for autos or the automotive world and what this does basically it picks up all of those contaminants and it lifts them off the surface and that way you can have a smooth surface to work with so you use a lubricant with this once again you're going to use your glass cleaner super simple so you would spray that liberally on the surface spray some a bit on the clay bar as well and don't worry glass is actually harder much harder than your automotive paint so it will not scratch or mar the glass surface and even on this newer vehicle maybe you can tell listen to that so that gritty surface basically that's the contamination that this is picking up so you glide your clay bar back and forth on the glass this is going to pick up all that contamination and now i can tell just by the sound that there's almost nothing left so there you go you pick up all that contamination from the glass so up and down and left to right a few times always using that lubrication and look at that you remember it was like blue we just did one glass look at all the dirt and gunk that's on there and this is after we cleaned the glass right so this goes to show you how embedded all that dirt and debris can get into the glass so now we're going to take our clean and dry towel and buff that to a streak free shine and now we have glass that is even smoother to the touch wow that feels good all right so the next pro tip now that we've clayed the glass uh by the way if you see any imperfections here the family actually has a dog and i think it's scratched a bit of that surface so it's not dirt it's really the the tint film on the inside that is a bit damaged but the glass is very clean so another tip once you've clayed and cleaned the glass if you want to help make it hydrophobic so easier for to wash during your maintenance washes you're going to take a spray wax so something like this meguiar's synthetic express spray wax or any spray wax that you have at home automotive grade obviously super simple what you're going to do you're going to spray a little bit on the surface you're going to take a clean and dry microfiber towel and work that in it's going to make the glass surface feel super slick and smooth and it's going to add a bit of that protection so it's going to make it a lot easier to clean when you're doing your maintenance washes we're flipping now to a clean and dry side to buff to a high gloss finish and as you can tell the towel is just gliding now and dirt is going to accumulate a lot less on the surface because of the hydrophobic property so the water is just going to beat off and sheet off the glass this is also going to increase your safety while driving because you're increasing the clarity as the dirt and grime won't stick as much and again it's going to be super easy to clean when you're cleaning your car once again so look at that now it just glides and now you have high definition looking glass that clarity professional level results so now let me show you how we do the windshield so for the windshield guys there are two tips and tricks so you can do the traditional way using two microfiber towels and your glass cleaner like the stoner invisible glass but what you can also use is the stoner clean and reach tool so check this out it basically has a triangle shaped wedge here with a microfiber bonnet on top so it has this sturdy handle and it pivots and this allows you to reach the corners of the windshield so let me give you this demonstration by going inside the vehicle alright so first method we're gonna use the traditional two towel method we're gonna spray some glass cleaner into the towel you're going to reverse your hand on the glass and then in a movement of up and down and left to right in a cross hatch pattern you're going to clean that glass and then you take your second clean and dry microfiber towel and you can buff to that streak free shine but now for some vehicles it might be harder to reach right in the upper corner in the lower corner and some intricate windshield designs so what you do is you use the wedge shaped stoner invisible glass clean and reach tool we're going to spray some glass cleaner on the surface of the pad and what this allows you to do now is to take your tool and look at that you glide and it allows you to get into that corner very very well so up here and then it contours and conforms to whatever shape you want so you can reach even the hardest to reach areas and now you've cleaned the glass and it just looks awesome this is effortless we're going to take a clean and dry towel and you are going to wipe for that streak free shine and there you go and now you have clean looking glass both inside and out so you guys now will be able to replicate these steps at home very easily in a matter of minutes you'll have this high definition looking glass ultra clear both inside and out i remind you that all the
