how to check/change injection pump oil WD-9

okay guys so back again back with the WD I was going to go ahead and show you guys how to change and check the injection pump oil it's pretty important that you do that especially if it's been sitting you like to it's been sitting for quite a while that diesel it'll get into the oil and you know you're not getting a good lube to your pump a couple things aside a guy comment he's getting a wd6 we talked a little bit if you're watching this I hope hope you're doing well on that wd6 and let me know how it's going for you hopefully it's going good alright guys so first off you're just checking the oil there's a little pitcock on the bottom here open that up you should have oil dribbling down from there okay check that quite often make sure you got oil in there and the second thing is there's drain plug for the bottom of the pump for when you want to change it but you don't do quite as often probably best idea is to do it whenever you service the engine oil go and drop the pump oil and then up here you actually get the fill here open a little little lid here dump the oil in there it doesn't take a lot of oil so drain it this plug open that pitcock there make sure that it's clean the holes clean if it's been sitting for a long time you might need to clean it out so the oil can flow through it open the drain oil plug back in open tik-tok little oil in there until you see the oil drain and Elda pitcock there close that back up and you're ready to rock and roll and when you fire it back up slice it in the last video there's your gauge there make sure you got got operating range in there oh so that's that's basically about it like I say you want to make sure almost every time if not every other time you start it make sure you check that oil every time the service engine just go and drop the oil on that that's the best best way to go I got the hoods off so you can see a little bit more if you guys are just getting into this I know I helped a couple guys out with the last video so hopefully I helped somebody again with this with the injection pump I couldn't find anything about it I kind of had my theories about it and I actually found a guy with another wd9 and I asked him and I got to figured out that way so hopefully this will also help somebody that's about it I believe I've had any questions yet on it add a few comments so thanks for those if you guys are listening there's anything else always comment and ask and we'll see what we can do
