How To Check If Someone Is Online On WhatsApp

hey guys Trevor here and in this video I'm going to show you how to check if someone is online on WhatsApp it's pretty quick and easy so let's Jump Right In now let's open up WhatsApp here on your iPhone or Android and first we need to check your settings to make sure it is enabled so let's tap on settings at the bottom right and let's tap on under account privacy now there are two things that you need to make sure you turn on one is this last scene so make sure this is set to my contacts or everybody if this is set to nobody then essentially you won't be able to see when someone else is online as well so if you don't opt into it then you cannot see it for other people as well so switch it to my contacts for everyone and let's go back and on read receipts make sure that is turned on so if that's off make sure you have read receipts turned on now there two different things that you can check one is let's tap on chats at the bottom right and then let's just go to a conversation with somebody now of course this is with myself but at the very top here you'll be able to see a green circle if they are currently online or right under their name it will say whether they're online or not now that's one indication that they might be online another one is let's just go back and tap on updates at the very bottom left you can always update basically your status so I can tap on it and you'll see at the very bottom I can tap on the views and if I just added a new update it will show me exactly the viewers on this and if I do have views on it it will tell me if that specific person is online or if they are not online so this is another way to potentially see if someone is using the WhatsApp app I hope this helps if it did hit the Subscribe button down below it really helps me out and I'll catch you on the next one
