How to Change / Switch Apple ID Account on iPhone

you guys before she start here in today's video we're going to show you how to switch your Apple ID account on your iPhone or change it to a different account on your phone so let's show you how to do that first thing you want to do is go ahead and open up settings once you open up setting you'll see your name here up top or the Apple ID sign in to you and go ahead and click on that once you click on it you know scroll all the way down here where it says sign out you're going to go ahead and click on sign out and it's going to ask you for the password for that Apple ID that's logged in so you're gonna have to enter that in so I'm going to go ahead and enter my Apple ID account for this account right so I put that in and after I put that in I'm going to click on turn off so it will turn off find my or iPhone activation so it removes it and it's going to ask you do you want to back up certain things like your contacts um other things as well from your iCloud simply you're just going to sign out it's up to you if you want to select that and it's going to remove the iCloud data on this device basically uh making sure that this ID that was linked with this device is no longer linked with it you notice here are apps and photos and videos that are on the phone will still be here so you can see here all of that is still there now the other thing you want to do is if you want to sign into a new one all you do is simply click on sign in and then enter in the Apple ID that you want to sign into let's say we want to sign into another Apple ID we just put that in and then once you do that we'll hit that next option so I'm putting a demo in I'm going to put the password again here and then once I put my password here all it's going to ask is that I hit next up here once I hit next what's going to happen it's going to prompt for a code pretty much if you have two Factor on your account you're going to want to enter that code so all I'm doing here is just entering my two-factor code that I received on my another device that has the same Apple ID or sometimes they can also text you it if you have a number linked with it and you'll get a text message forward to do that and once you do that it's going to start signing you in to the new account that you switched over to and that's all you need to do if you want to switch your account and pretty much it but when it comes to switching your Apple account when you're switching if you signed out of the existing one you can also create a new one if you want a new one you can see here it's asking us to enter the passcode here of the iPhone here that will be saved in this so I'm just going to put simple one here so it'll be linked with that Apple account as well if you need to ever um unlock the Apple ID here so as you can see here then it shows I had used the same account on iPad and it's just asking me to enter the same password for that iPad which I'll put in here and after I do that what shall happen here it should sign me and sometimes these are let me try it one more time so all I'm doing is entering the passcode for that account and signing in and it'll ask you if you want to merge some of the data I usually don't merge it but you can merge it it's up to you so it's going in and going and spinning as you can see now we're signed in of course I signed in to pretty much the same account but you can sign into a different one using the same method so hopefully you guys found this quick little video helpful if so please make sure that like And subscribe button thanks for watching guys see you guys next time
