How to Change Hair Color in Affinity Photo [ Fast & Easy Way ]

[Music] hey guys i'm dave back with another affinity photo tutorial today i will show you a simple trick to change hair color in affinity photo now there are many ways to do the same effect i am trying to make easy and fast way to change any hair color in affinity photo these are my images and i'm going to work on it let's start with this one at first make a copy of the image by ctrl j copy then go to above center this icon called toggle quick mask click on it or you can simply click queue on your keyboard at first this makes whole image as mask so press ctrl i invert now you can see red border near edges of the image that means it's a inward selection so now when we brush on any area of the image that area will be covered by mask and not the rest part now select paint brush tool make foreground color black and brush on the hair as we need only hair part now slowly and gently brush on the entire hair [Music] now increase your brush size by pressing right or left third bracket key from your keyboard near word p you can find that icon okay brush on the entire here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now if by mistake this type happen during selecting the hair don't worry just change your foreground color to white and brush on those area it will gone then again change foreground color to black and continue your work now this image entire air selected as mask now again go to above center icon toggle quick mask and click on it or you can simply press q from keyboard right now entire image is under a selection except the hair area that we use mask now go to select invert pixel selection or ctrl shift plus i now after doing this step by using invert pixel selection now this one is only the hair area selection not the entire photo okay this one is only here selection where we used paint brush to select here now go to above layer new fill layer white is a default color now go to above right color and choose any other color i am selecting red for now and change this color layer blending mode to soft light [Music] and press ctrl d to deselect the selection on here see very natural hair color look this one previous hair color and this is me hair color now click on the color and feel free to play with any other color like this so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] here are some more examples of different shade of hair color and i am going to use same steps now little bit first [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] so these are some samples of changing hair [Music] color i hope you find this video helpful if you like my work with affinity photo then subscribe this affinity vibe youtube channel to get more amazing affinity photo effect tutorials you can support me on my instagram account link in video description and also you can check out the other amazing videos just waiting for you in this channel playlist thanks for watching and i will back with another video soon till then keep practicing because practice makes perfect and have fun with affinity photos [Music] you
