How to Change and Install Custom Recovery on Android using ADB Sideload Method [2023]

hello and welcome to crack soy today in this video I am going to show you how to change your existing recovery and install a new one using ADB sideload method now I know you might be thinking why not just install the recovery normally well that's a fair question while installing a recovery normally might be the go to method for most people but there are times when you need to do something differently that's where the ADB sideload method comes in handy so if you are looking to learn something new and broaden your knowledge of custom recoveries this video is for you so let's get started so the first thing that you need to do is to enable developers options so simply go to settings scroll down to last and enter into about phone section and then in about phone you will find build number simply tap on it about 10 times then developer option will be enabled and I have already enabled developer options so I'll go back and enter into system setting where you'll find developer option tap on it in developer option scroll down a little bit and you will find USB debugging simply enable it now we need to go back and reboot our phone to recovery mode and different phone have different methods to reboot their phone to recovery section I have installed orange Fox custom recovery but if you have any other custom recovery installed then don't worry it will work on them too so in custom recovery we need to do only one thing and that is to run ADB side load process so go to menu section and you will find ADB and side load option simply tap on it and swipe right to run ADB side load process so ADB sideload is running and now connect your phone to computer using a USB cable and then go to computer so we are here in computer and in computer you need to download these three files first one is ADB setup second one is platform tools zip file and third one is another custom recovery zip file that you want to install at first right click on ADB setup and run it as administrator then this kind of interface will appear here simply press y button from the keyboard and hit enter it will ask for three times and then click on next and click on finish so now ADB drivers are properly installed on our computer now extract these platform tools zip file with the help of any extractor and this is the extracted folder I will open it and we need to transfer or copy the custom recovery zip file to this extracted platform tools folder and make sure platform tools folder is in desktop section otherwise it may cause error now on the empty area of address bar type CMD and hit enter Then command promote will appear and I'll arrange platform tools folder and CMD side by side so that it will be easy to do further steps in CMD type ADB space devices and hit enter to check whether device is properly connected or not and you can see it's showing the list of attached devices with site load written which indicates phone is connected with computer inside load mode now type another command which is ADB space sideload space and then drag that custom recovery zip file into CMD and hit enter and then it will start its process and after few moments the process is completed now our work in computer is done so let's go back to mobile phone and here go back tap on reboot and then choose recovery then phone will start rebooting in custom recovery and this time it will have another custom recovery installed and as you can see now my phone have pitch black custom recovery installed so in this similar way you can change and switch between different custom recoveries and make sure to download the recovery file that is compatible with your device otherwise you may break your phone and again if you want to go to another custom recovery then simply tap on Advanced button and select ADB side load and swipe right to run it and make sure phone and computer is attached together with USB cable and in computer copy the custom recovery G file and paste on platform tools folder and then type CMD on address bar and on CMD type ADB space devices to check phone is connected or not and then type sideload command which is ADB space side load space and drag that custom recovery zip file to CMD and hit enter then when the process is completed your phone will automatically reboot to recovery mode and will install another custom recovery so in this way you can also change your custom recovery and install a new one but remember TWRP custom recovery will not work with this method because it used to be on image file and this ADB side load only supports zip file format so thank you so much for watching this video If you like this video then don't forget to hit the like button comment down below share this video And subscribe to crack sweet I'll see you in my next video bye
