How to Bunny Hop on controller in Apex Legends (PS4 & XBOX)!!

okay so as it said in the title today i'm going to be teaching you guys how to bunny hop or b-hop on controller it's a lot easier to do on pc but um obviously it's going to be a little bit harder on controller because that's just the way things are um but um the first thing you're going to want to do is you're going to go into your settings so you go into settings and you're going to go into controller and you're going to go into you're going to go over to crouch button and you have to switch it to hold it can't be on toggle it's not going to work on toggle it has to be on hold or else it won't work and um yeah let's go to the firing range now so that i can teach you how to do it okay so we're in the firing range um once you're in firing range um you're going to want to go all the way like over here where there's not going to be as much obstacles and stuff um so that you have some free space to learn how to bunny hop um and be hopping is actually very useful it makes you a lot harder to hit and um when you're getting shot at sometimes like um it kind of like slows you down when you're getting hit by bullets but when you're b-hopping it's actually a lot um easier and you don't really slow down while getting shot also when you're like taking syringes or shields or med kits you can also like you know move faster to get behind cover um i haven't completely mastered it but um yeah i just wanted to share this with you guys um you're going to want to practice in firing range for a while until you get good enough edit to use it in the actual game but yeah here it goes um so first up you're going to want to start start by sprinting and you're gonna jump okay so you sprint you sprint and you jump and you slide okay you're gonna have to remember you're gonna have to hold down on um circle or b depending on if you're on xbox or playstation but um you're going to want to jump after you're sprinting slide and hop as soon as you touch the floor as soon as you touch the ground so boom just like that so what you're going to want to do sprint hop slide and as soon as you slide and as soon as you touch the ground like that you're going to want to press x right so x or a depending on what what type of um controller you're on um so so once again run hop slide x x x x x so every time you touch the ground you're gonna want to press x again this is gonna look this is gonna you're gonna probably gonna have to like crab grip like put some of your fingers on the buttons on the right of your controller um also like if you're trying to turn like while doing the the b-hop hold on i just messed up if you want to turn i messed it up again but if you want to turn you have to move your right and left stick looking in the same spot you can't have the left stick pointing to the left and the right stick pointing to the right it's just gonna it's gonna mess you up and it's not gonna work um but yeah let me try and try and do it as best i can now so right there when i was trying to turn around this thing i have both my right stick and my left stick pointing to the right if i had my left stick pointed to the right and my um i mean if i had my left stick pointed to the left and my right pointed to the right it would not work so um once again let's just go over all that again you sprint hop and slide and as soon as you touch the ground like that you're gonna want to press x and don't spam it don't spam it because it's not gonna work you have to boom boom boom boom you have to keep pressing x every time you touch the ground don't just spam x don't just do that don't just keep spamming it because that's just gonna mess you up it's not gonna work okay so let me try and do it now running hop slide i messed up hold on run hop slide okay that's pretty good as i said i haven't fully mastered it yet but um yeah so right there when i'm trying to turn around this obviously like i said i have my left and right stick pointed this way um yeah so that's basically it on how to bunny hop on um controller you know i wish everything wasn't as complicated um i wish everything was just as easy on controller as it was on pc but that's just not how it is so um i hope this helped you guys and um yeah don't forget to like and subscribe come back for more videos i um post at least two times a week um i didn't get to like you know post on this um this week two times actually i did because today's sunday um the last day of the week but i'm gonna try my hardest to you know get out two videos every week um and yeah that's basically it as long as you follow all of this and you practice it in the firing range um you should you know you should get good enough to be able to use it in a real game and it's actually very um useful so yeah um bye
