How to Build the Biggest and Best City Ever in Cities Skyline

my journey all right let's get started let's build the biggest city ever let's go hey friends welcome to play for fun the channel where I play for fun and for you today I'm going to build the best and biggest city I have ever built with you I hope you're ready for some epic urban planning and design to start I need to find the center of this map and start building from there you know what they say the center is where the heart is or was it the other way around anyway let's get [Music] started all right now that I have found the center of the map I'm ready to make the basic plan of the city According to which I want to build the whole city this is like drawing a sketch before painting a masterpiece [Music] well now that I have finished the central initial design I will continue the next lines according to it and according to my vision until I reach the final design I want this is not a hard task at all I just follow a fixed pattern and keep going as long as the map size allows me [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh the main design of the map is completed a very big and beautiful map although I am worried about this big map when the buildings and zones are complete what pressure will my computer's CPU bear to process it I hope he gets through it in any case I want to have an intersection in the center of the map that will connect the highways that I will draw from four directions towards the center this way I can connect the highways to all four sides of the map so that the citizens can travel in any direction ction they [Music] want wow this intersection is perfect for the center of this map well this stage is done let's move on to building the giant City I can't wait to see how it turns out all right now it's time to build the highways and connect them to the main highways that sounds like a lot lot of work then I can start the construction of buildings and zones that's when the fun begins you can create your own neighborhoods Parks landmarks and more you can make your city as unique as you [Music] want [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] you [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] w [Music] the next thing on my agenda is to upgrade the streets I started with this basic two-lane street but that's not going to credit for the big and busy City I'm dreaming of I'll upgrade the streets based on their usage and the kind of Transportation Service I want for each area then I'll continue with the rest of the [Music] work [Music] [Applause] [Music] w [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] all right I think we're ready to start building some buildings I have a vision for the city I wanted to have taller buildings and skyscrapers near the center of the map and shorter buildings and Villas on the edges of the map of course this is just a general plan and I might change it up in some places you know me I like to be spontaneous sometimes so for this central part of the map I'm going to use the tallest buildings in the game that I can find they're going to look amazing and impressive and then as we move away from the center the build buildings will get shorter and more cozy it's like a gradient of height and [Music] [Music] style [Music] oh the next thing I want to do is to build some universities and campuses in corners of the map I need to set up the background before I build different zones so that the game will run smoothly and without any issues and the university is one of those Essentials for this big city for this purpose I'm going to use all three University areas and different campuses that the game offers and for the part that's left empty I'll also use some of the smaller universities that the game has it's going to be a very Lively and educational [Music] place [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now I have to set up the basic services like water sewage electricity and garbage collection these are the things that make a city livable and functional I'll do it step by step until the city is ready for the first people and citizens to move [Music] in [Applause] [Music] yeah [Music] oh [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Music] now I want to do a series of temporary electrical wiring so that the electricity reaches the places where I want to do zoning these cables are obligatory for me now and I will get rid of them later for zoning I'll add some smaller streets and use residential areas in them and for the bigger and busier streets around I'll use commercial and office zoning and according to the AL them I mentioned before I'll use bigger and taller buildings in these parts it's going to look like a modern and dynamic city [Music] now that I have the water piping and the temporary electrical wiring done it's time for the main service buildings I need to make sure that my city has everything it needs to be safe healthy and happy I'll build a hospital and a cemetery on each side of the map along with elder care and Child Health Care Facilities I'll also build police and fire station buildings and schools and then I'll start building the first residential areas now I want to pay attention to the details and try to make this city more realistic and beautiful I'll use some sidewalks with trees along them to add some Greenery and charm to the city I know this is not a small City and it's easy to forget the details later if I don't take care of them now but I want this city to be special and memorable not just big and busy I wanted to have a soul and a [Music] personality [Music] [Music] great I'm sure the trees and Greenery will make these parts look much nicer I think it's time to start zoning like I said before the smaller inner streets will be residential areas with some commercial spaces in between but the bigger and busier outer streets will have more commercial and Office Buildings we don't want to have any problems with the residential buildings being too close to the noisy and crowded streets nobody likes to be disturbed by a loud car horn when they're trying to relax or sleep that would be so annoying and stressful [Music] [Music] all right so far everything has gone well and I think it's a good time to resume the game and see First Citizens arrive in the city I'm curious to see what will happen will they like the city will they have any problems will they have any stories to tell let's find [Music] out [Music] well well 21,000 new citizens that's amazing and this is just the first phase of zoning well let's keep going and see what happens next I'm sure there are more surprises and challenges [Music] ahead [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] wow this is the second phase of construction and I already have 52,000 citizens that's impressive I'm optimistic about the future how about you I think the final population of this city will be around 500,000 let's continue with the plan I'll keep zoning the inner layers with this pattern and for the next layers I want to build four very large parks on all four sides of the city a giant City needs some giant Parks don't you think they'll make this city more green and pleasant let's continue and see how it turns out [Music] n [Music] [Applause] last layer of tall buildings and residential office and Commercial Towers they look stunning and Majestic and from this layer on I'll switch to Shorter buildings and apartments and then to villas and houses that sounds like a good plan we'll have a nice variety of buildings and styles in the city I'll keep going as before to complete these parts I'm sure they'll look great too [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] well this is the first part of the low density residential zoning area of course this part is made of short departments and Villas and houses are in the next Parts I like this design in general and I think it will look beautiful also in this part I plan to use more office zones for the inner areas because I don't plan to build an industrial area for this city the whole population will work in offices so I need a lot of Office [Music] Space [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] he [Music] [Music] a [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah now it's time to build some giant Parks these steps are very timeconsuming so I'll show you the steps briefly and quickly I want to build a big lake inside each of the parks and put some sidewalks around it with Park equipment and supplies I think it will look very beautiful in the end when the trees and green spaces are done let's go and [Music] see [Music] he [Music] n [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] it's time to start the city's public transportation system the average traffic flow of the city is about 50% which is terrible you'll see the magic of public transportation and how much it will improve the traffic management of the city I planned ahead when I was upgrading the streets I decided which areas I would use and what transportation service I would provide I'll start with the bus lines and then move on to other [Music] options [Music] now that I finished the bus lines and I think they cover all the areas let's move on to the monreal lines and then and the tram lines after that I'm also thinking about adding some Metro lines I'm sure this will boost the traffic flow from 50% to about 80% which is an ideal number let's finish this public transportation [Music] system [Music] St [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] I [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] well friends as you can see the percentage of average traffic flow is currently at 52% I will continue with my construction work and at the end I will show you how much this percentage will reach despite the population added to the city wow look at that the average traffic flow has gone up to 70% that's amazing right I'm so proud of my transport system it's working like a charm I bet if we give it more time it will get even better maybe we can reach 80% or even 90% who knows anything is possible in this [Music] [Music] game [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] a [Music] we are getting close to the edge of the map you know what that means it's time to build some airports I have a great idea for where to put them I'm going to build one airport right next to the university area and I'm going to build another airport on the opposite side of the map so we can have some balance and symmetry for now I'm going to use these small airports that are already made for us they are cute and simple but they get the job done but maybe later if I have enough space I will demolish them and build some bigger and better airports myself I want to make them custom and unique just like my city let's see how it goes maybe we can attract some more tourists and boost our economy or maybe we can cause some more traffic and pollution either way it will be fun and exciting in let's do [Music] this I want to make sure that my city is clean and green that means I need to improve the garbage collection system I need to add some more roads and access points for the garbage trucks to move around the city more easily that way they can pick up the trash faster and more efficiently but that's not all I also want to connect my city to the Sea transportation system I have two big rivers on both sides of the map and I want to use them to build some cargo and pass passenger Harbors that will help me with importing and exporting Goods as well as attracting more visitors to my city I think this will be a great addition to my city and make it more lively and dynamic what do you think do you like and routes for our citizens and visitors to enter and leave the city we can also improve the traffic control and reduce the congestion and [Music] pollution [Music] [Applause] oh [Music] oh [Music] I'm going to add some Greenery trees and plants to our city I'm going to start with the parks and make them more colorful and inviting then I'm going to fill the empty spaces of different parts of the to build my own custom airport that will fit perfectly in this area and look amazing I'm going to demolish these two small airports and start from scratch and after that I'm going to finish the areas around the airports and the universities and fill this last space and then guess what we will have officially completed our city can you believe it but don't worry we still have some fun and exciting guys look at that I think it's stunning these two airports are much more beautiful than before they also have different functions one is for cargo and one is for passengers I also built a train station in this area and I plan to build another one on the opposite side to complete the access to the city I think this will make our city more connected and efficient what do you think do you like the the last piece of the puzzle of this amazing City we have filled all the empty spaces and completed all the green spaces we have built a city that we can be proud of I'm so happy and grateful that this is not the end of our adventure we still have some more things to do and explore in this city so stay tuned and don't go anywhere but for now let's celebrate our achievement let's take a look at managed to create a city that has smooth and efficient Transportation but that's not all there are many more things that we can be proud of we created a city that has a lot of diversity and variety we
