The eye is an organ that can be easily manipulated. Here you see an example of this. Let's see how I built this! Hi there! Let's start with the kit I will use first. This will be my first time building a model
in this scale. The Revell kit is excellent. However, there are no pilot figures inside,
which is a huge minus. This is unacceptable for this scale because
there are very few pilot figures produced for this scale on the market. Even if you can find them, they are expensive. But no problem! In a moment I will show you how to simply
build a pilot figure. Of course it won't be perfect, as always it
will be better than nothing. Anyway. I start the build as usual with cutting and
cleaning. Nothing special so far. Let’s make some little people. I used an aluminum wire to build the skeleton. Baking soda and CA glue to make it solid I used liquid putty to add volume to the object. Okey let’s get back to the build Since the cockpit wouldn't be visible at all,
I didn't bother painting it. The original cockpit color is already very
close to this plastic color. But just in case, I applied the decals. Well this guy needs a head. Let's make it with some epoxy putty I have painted the figures and other cockpit
details with brush before close the canopy Of course, some puttying and sanding work
is required. This is how I attached the wire to fix the
model. However, I somehow managed to break the wire
I was wearing. I added arm detail to the exhaust nozzles
with fishing line. Just in case, I painted the cockpit frames
black. And primer Weathering wash for pre shade effect I painted the model with three different shades
of gray. Dark, light and lighter. Currently, this model is finished as it is,
but since it will be a diorama element, different light effects are needed. I have to show you how I created the background
image. One day, while looking at pictures of low-pass
aircraft on the internet, I came across a CGI work that inspired me for this diorama. I tried to reach the author through many channels
for permission to use his work, but he did not reply to me. So I decided to make my own. Several planes are flying low over a desert. How difficult could it be? I am also free about the aircraft models I
can use on diorama. Of course, I chose my favorite jet aircraft,
F-15E. The effect I wanted was not achieved in this background
image. I tried it on a new one and boom Then I printed this work on matte paper in
high resolution. I also ordered a frame to fit the measurements. Since I broke the previous one by accident,
I fixed the model in place with
a new wire.
