how to boost fps in days gone using lossless scaling 2.6.0.6 full guide+fps test

hey everyone uh welcome back on the channel welcome back to another lossless scaling app video today we're trying days gone uh so the game does not have any FSR or dlss to install any kind of FSR 3 or dlss 3 mod that's why we're using the Los L scaling app the game version has been updated to 1.07 which released back in December 2022 I think so in order to use the app and get some more frames and smoothness out of this game uh you will be need to follow some steps which I will show you so let's begin uh first uh let me show you that I'm playing on 10tp with very high settings uh so first of all you will need to go to display setting and cap the frame rate you can see the frame rate limiter here you will need to cap the frame rate or limit the frame to either 30 or 60 depending on your graphics card like if you have a low uh Graphics low end graphics card like gt710 gt150 or 1050 TI maybe up to 1650 you will need to cap this on 60 FPS but if you have a mid end to good end card like 1660 TI or maybe RTX 20 60 or 3050 uh you can cap this FPS on 60 FPS so I have RTX 2060 that's why I'm capping the FPS on 60 so after capping just hit on apply uh then also the MSI After Burner won't be compatible with this game or mod so do not run the After Burner while using the lossless scaling app the lossless will crash uh so yeah now we're just going to run the Los scaling app so the version I am using is it will show up 2.6.6 which seems to works perfectly with this game so in order to activate the mod uh or make it work you will need to select the scaling mode from Auto to custom so select custom in the scale select one you can increase decrease it but set it on one then click on Des size scaling turn it on after that scaling type select mdfr Darkness you can add or not add that's totally up to you after that click on the optimize version on and in the frame Generation section select the lsfg don't click on the escalate we're just going to do it from the inside of the game that's more noticeable so yeah we're going to go inside the game now and right now you can see the FPS at 60 at the top right corner so we will press control I mean hold control then alt then press a from the keyboard uh the game will get black screen uh one time then if you come back to the game once again uh wait uh I think it's having some kind of issue here uh yeah there uh so you need to maybe minimize one or two times uh in order to get the frame rate boost so yeah there you go uh you can see now that PS is around 110 to 20 you feel the smoothness while doing combat and other stuffs uh so yeah do follow the guide which I told you do not run hner and apply these settings and you'll be good to go so yeah this will be it uh if this video helps you you can subscribe to the channel now I'm just going to run the game and play for maybe few minutes to just show you guys how that this boost is work and everything I feel free to watch or leave whatever you think and yeah join the Discord for more future mods and everything and I'll see you guys in the next one so yeah cheers here yep my blood that blows every all right got you like thatuh come on the come on may be useful okay one miss done how many more you got okay
