in this video I'm going to show you how to bleed a baseboard heater one reason why you might want to do this is if you might if you're on the second floor and the wood and you're upstairs isn't getting height maybe you made like a recent repair something like that upstairs in the water supply line there could be an air pocket in the system so I'll show you how to bleed out the air out of the baseboard if the Isaiah trapped inside the V baseboard and like a high level house or it could even be a lower level too but typically it sentence the fines weights like the highest point so show you how to do that and it's pretty easy to do alright so what you can do is take the cover off of your base wood and it should just pull off a little little clips and you can pry it away and then here you're going to see is this should be a bleeder valve not all baseboards going to have this if somebody put you base bullet in with just regular 90s this isn't going to work for you if you have a bleeder cap on it like this then you can try this method to get the trapped air out of the baseboard so all you're going to do is these usually thumb tight you just turn it with your thumb in what happens as you'll see water shooting out you know you want to turn the temperature up in the house so that's a lot of stuff's to circulate and when you turn this cap water a shoot out you're going to want to get a bowl so that you can shoot the water into the bowl and once all the air shop the air is out of the beast' Boyd you can turn the cap and shut it off so I'm not actually going to do it with this one because everything is working perfectly and I don't want a mess of it and they have hardwood floors right under it so I just kind of wanted to tell you this video what's the look for
