so young i just want to tell if not your name video scope previously i already told you guys that when i started i had no experience i had no training i was currently still studying graduate school during the timeline virtual assistant hall i had no mentor and i did not apply through a virtual assistant agency and yes i've also been one of those people nana kakita nama post manga trainings about recommend going through va agencies if you are a beginner and it is but in my honest opinion going through va agencies requirements which is more than necessary if you would like to pursue a va career because you can be a va on your own with your own skills with your own credentials you can be a va without those standardized requirements you have a choice whether you want to go through a va agency or find clients on your own but in my case i found my own clients i think it's a better step than subjecting yourself to a set of standards because there is no one-size-fits-all job description for any kind of client or va relationship if you get what i'm saying let's also talk about equipment so do you need a computer as a va yes computer or laptop it is the heart of your job you are delivering work online so do i recommend buying computer a brand new one no nikon and i recommend you can borrow you don't need a high spec laptop actually because usually virtual assistants it's only light computer functions is multi-tasking especially when you have already multiple clients in language having work but if you're still starting i guys so do not expect so quickly in a magazine client remember you're starting with zero knowledge after four months i'm gonna go first client after one month more more more and if you want my opinion and um whether a desktop computer or a laptop computer i would always prefer a laptop computer i've already been through family trips and then my birthday occasions slip overs so having a laptop is very convenient for my desktop guy you can't do that next let's talk about skills this is one of the most confusing parts of being a va honorable skills i've also watched a lot of video tutorials read a lot of articles regarding being a va and angry allegheny long first step choose a skill to offer identify a skill to offer guys i don't know i don't know i have maybe i have skills maybe i don't i don't know what i can offer what does the client want the real answer to skills what are your skills is it actually depends i only learned about my skills when i started browsing through job descriptions once you have registered yourself through freelancing platforms you will only know what kind of skill you can offer once you put yourself out there and start applying being a va is super super broad there is no one type of va so you can only discover that once you browse through the job post and pick what kind of job you want to take what are the kind of clients you want to deal with what kind of work you want to perform so let's also talk about resumes curriculum my straight answer is no you don't need it in all my application letters in all of my three clients right now i did not submit any curriculum video or resume first is mexican community application letter based on the platform sodium then they will schedule you for either two interview or trial task for you to get hired so yeah so lastly i would like to talk about rejections i myself experience a lot of rejections during my first few months but when i got my first client to the next shifting perspective there are so much businesses and clients out there young rejections take and messages from my subscribers and followers also instagram and they discourage syllabus i almost gave up but i did not stop so i hope that i'm getting inspiration believe in
