How to backup Android SMS messages

hi this is between two you don't want to show you how to back up so first step is go to your Play Store click here and type chain sms backup once you type in SMS back up in my previous video I shown you how to do sms backup using this app but this actors rating has dropped quite substantially so I want to show you using another app called sms backup and restore by syntek pretty limited so select it and click install so the just start it you have to allow these requests select set up a backup select next so you can select where you want a message to be stored you can select from these all options I will select Google Drive click on login so you have two options to get full access to your Google Drive or to only give the folder you're creating for storing your SMS I will give only to that folder say ok add an account or select the one that exists okay ask another request say allow if you're happy with so that's done the funny thing about this backup is that it says delete backup older than 30 days so for example you not have access to your and a year ago data it would have just access to 30 days of data but if you want to have access to all your SMS and phone logs you should send select do not delete so that you would have all that information for almost ever as long as you have your Google Drive there which I absolutely recommend using it because data is not really very big and it can be easily stored you can save click Next so you can select how often do you want it to backup for now for this example I will say early but you can select whatever suits you when weekly is not for you then you can say back up no and the process isn't taking in place try to back up all the information which you can see it's a huge amount of information so it says around 2500 messages got back knocked up by 500 calls got back up now in our computer go to your Google Drive go to your personal and then type your email password and shows you the files for the backup that are saved so it saves your file in this format it's not in a format that you could view you could only see that it's saved here but this should be this point should be enough to use to restore your messages back to your phone if your phone is lost but this system can't be used for viewing your messages like my other video that I've shown how to back it off so that you could see it from your Gmail thanks for watching if this video was helpful please share and subscribe
