How to AUTOMATICALLY Generate TIMECODES from Waveform in Subtitle Edit

how to automatically generate time codes from waveform first go to video Tab and click on open video file change it to all files to show audio files to select your video or audio and click open now that a waveform is generated we want to generate time codes from the waveform just right click on the waveform and select guess time codes in the open window you can generate time codes from the beginning of the audio or from the current playhead position you also have the option to delete currently available lines in the list view click all none or from current video position based on your needs next you have some options to generate time codes better for example you can set it to consider the audio as blocks of 100 milliseconds or change it depending on your needs and the average volume of each 100 milliseconds to be above or below a value you also have the option to split subtitles with duration more than a value enter I enter 5 Seconds here and click ok now subtitle edit generated time codes for our audio and we can right click on each section in the waveform and select play selection and enter the text after that just press alt plus down arrow to go to next line and do this for all the lines note that you only do this process if you don't have any other options for example for an English video like mine you always have an option to automatically transcribe the video and generate the subtitles anyway guys thanks for watching and I hope you found this useful [Music]
