How To Allow Installation From Unknown Sources On Android (Samsung Galaxy)

welcome back in today's Tech tip I'll be showing you how to allow installation of unknown apps or APK files on your Android phone for this tutorial I'll be using a Samsung Galaxy running Android 14 but this works on other Android phones as well so what you want to do is go into settings on the settings page of your Samsung phone go to apps and then under apps tap on the three dot button in the top right corner and then select special access and then under special access look for install unknown apps tap on that and then you want to choose uh you can enable installation of unknown apps from the source that you intend to install from so let's say if the APK file or the Unknown app is in your files folder you can enable installation from files enabling this does not allow you to for instance install an unknown app from WhatsApp if you want to install it directly from WhatsApp then you have to enable for WhatsApp and Google is making this uh options separate just to maintain the highest level of security on your Android phone so if someone is sending you the APK file via WhatsApp you can enable WhatsApp if you're going to install it from your browser you can do that as well so once you finish installing the Unknown app make sure you come back to this settings page and disable all these options just to keep everything nice and secure that's basically how to allow apps installation apps from unknown sources to be installed on your Android phone thanks for watching comments and questions down below and good luck
