HOW TO ADD YOUR BUSINESS TO GOOGLE MAPS 2024

hello in this video I will be showing you how to add your business to Google Maps or how to add your local business to Google maps for example as you can see right here if you were to type in plumbers in Jamaica or plumbers in a particular area or another business for example you will see these pop up these options I'll be showing you how to add them the first thing you need to do is create a Google account if you do not have one already and to create a Google account all you'll have to do is simply type in accounts Google then from here you are going to tap on create account and you could create a free Google account after you have done that the next thing you are going to do is type in Google Business once you have typed in Google business you are going to be led to this page and from here I want you to select the first option that says Google business profile and you're going to be relate to this page right here from here you're going to tap on sign in in the top right hand corner then you are going to be redirected to this page and from here you are going to enter your business name so you'll tap right where you see business name and you're going to enter your business name real quick after entering your business name you are going to tap on continue once you have selected continue you will see the option to choose the type of business that you are adding so for example an online retail store a local store or a service business for this example I'll use a local store then you are going to tap on next after selecting next you are going to add the business category so I'll simply type in store then you'll tap on next after doing that you are going to enter the location of your business so you will add the country then you are going to add the street let me do that real quick and also the parish then you'll simply tap on next then from here you will see the option to pinpoint exactly where you are located then you are going to tap on next then you'll quickly add a phone number let me add that real quick then you can also add a website if you have it so you'll add your web link right here then you'll simply tap on next and from here you'll see put your business on the map stay connected with your customers across Google and you could tap on get personalized email notifications and you will select continue and give it a few seconds as you can see it is currently creating the option or the information that you had entered earlier then you'll see verify you are being verified by Google and you will tap on next and the steps are almost completed the next thing you will need to do is add the business hours so whenever you're open or closed for example I'll be closed on Sunday and Saturday but I'll be open on Monday and then you could add opening hours so let's say for example from 8 am until 3 P.M so let's scroll down and select 3 pm and then on Tuesday I would at the same time Wednesday the same time Thursday Friday the same time then you'll simply tap on next but for this example I'll select skip then from here you can add a message if you would like customize profile I'll simply tap on Netflix customer's message your business on Google for free so you'll tap on next as you want to accept that so customers will be able to leave a review then from here you are going to add a business description so you can add that real quick then I'll skip that and from here you could add photos of your store so let's say for example you are running a home finishing store and or an adware you can add the photos right here once you have uploaded the photos you are going to tap on next at the bottom of the page then you can start advertising if you want but if you don't you can simply select skip and you can see your edits will be visible once you are verified and you'll tap on continue and from here you can see an example of how your business will look as you can see right here that's it and that is it that's how it will look and by the way if you would like to edit our beta yet manage your page all you have the page all you have to do is simply tap on C performance right here and from here you'll be able to see the calls that you have received the messages the bookings and also the directions and you can see the website clicks right here and you can also select the time period there are numerous options on how you can edit and also how you can see how your listing is performing and you can also edit your profile by simply tapping on edit profile and if in the future you would like to update the photos you can simply tap on add photos and you can also read the reviews right here and you could also create a q a if you want so you can do all of your editing and managing of your new up update better yet on Google hope you found this video helpful and informative if you did be sure to hit the like button and subscribe
